This should not be tolerated. If bp threat is armed military they need to be armed and trained superior to threat level. I want to hear all Democrats response to this on national television. If the gov won’t do their job and secure our border then we the people need to do it.
I'm sure you have, and indeed I have spent time in AZ, along the mythical border. Organpipe is a dangerous place. However, this occurred in Texas. Rio Grande. There is absolutely no way, those Mexican trops mistook where they were, and that narrative is smoke and mirrors, on the part of both governments. Interestingly, when the Mexican Government sent troops to assist in the aftermath of hurricane damage, recently, they sent armed troops. Armed. Deep into Texas. That shit will not stand. My family has been in Texas since 1731. Really. My ancestors fought in 1835 to run off the Mexican troops from Texas, and succeeded in the capitulation of General Cos, sending him back to his brother in law. We are willing to do it again.
Exactly. The Mexican military supports and defends the drug and human trafficking. A friend who is Sheriff in Hudspeth County TX has his deputies invoved in a running shoot out with a Mexican Hummwv, and a Chevy Suburban, until they crossed the river. The Hummer got across, and men in uniform bailed out, while the Suburban got flooded in the river, and those guys bailed as well. It is pretty blatant.

To be fair, it was probably a guard unit. Not that they are all shit, but they tend to have a less aggressive stance...especially when still within the borders of the US.
This is where ROE's tend to screw with the warrior mentality, moreso here than in a foreign and alien environment. It's a far worse propaganda issue, demoralizing to the Army troops, than anything else.
I'm reasonably certain, after the JTF-6 fiasco with the Marines shooting that kid in the head at 300yds, you won't see any jarheads on the border (which TBH, I think is a bad idea too; that's just asking for shit to go sideways...violently and quickly).

Marines guard embassies. I think they are professional enough to guard our border which is infinitely more important.
Marines are a bit aggressive for guard duty typically. As for the Embassies, well, they're also the react force, so while they may "look pretty", they are well prepared, trained and equipped to open a can of whoop ass. There's a reason the school for Marine Security Forces is (or at least was) located in the great dismal swamp...lots of area to practice without a lot of prying eyes.
No, the Army is better equipped (mind set and logistically) to guard the borders. But, as AJ stated, they should have open their own can of whoop ass on the foreign invaders. Fuckers.

Marines are guards, I just heard their Commandant this morning on the radio complaining about being deployed,,, said they couldnt handle it... only wants them on ships...watching over the butt fuckers in white

Ding, Ding, Ding give that man a cigar! What many fail to realize the Mexican military works with, for or are the cartels. From an SAIC in DHS I have known since High school (and that’s a long, long time ago) where ever the Mexican military goes near the border so goes increased human and drug smuggling. Up to the division commanders in some cases the Mexican military are for all practical purposes cartel jefe’s. They use military equipment/personnel to guard drug and human smuggling operations including regular incursions into the US. Almost 100% certain this was a case of Mexican soldiers running interference for a drug run no matter what BS story you hear about a “mistake” on the news.
Getting shot at from across the boarder is not uncommon as one might think. I have another high school friend who is now retired LEO who was shot at in two separate incidents from the Mexican side of the border while he was a Cochise County sheriff’s officer, a period of about 10 years before he switched departments. For those that do not know that is a southern Arizona county with many many miles of US/Mexico border.
I have been in hill top hides used by cartel scouts to radio in BP unit locations to drug runners while hunting in southern AZ, specifically the Sierra Colorado mnts. This is not even close to the border, we are talking 20 miles plus into the US. Fortunately the BP stepped up their presence in that area massively and shut down a lot of what was going on. Yet we still find trees with a hundred back packs left under them from smugglers and illegals. Trash everywhere. Tuna cans and water bottles, clothes. It’s like walking down an San Francisco street, at least from what I have seen on the news about SF lately. Last hunt there even found abandoned back packs full of drugs (pot in that instance) apparently dumped when the BP came after them. A few well place slashes with sharp knife left the contents exposed enough for the desert sun and weather to take care of the abandoned cargo.
Areas of the Arizona border have been closed to hunting by AZ Game and Fish due to “high illegal activity”. This situation on the border is absolutely nuts! They need to build that damn wall and change the friggen laws so they can ship them back as soon as they catch them. I say a build a tall wall but with a wide gate. Control who comes and goes and know who the hell they are and make sure they go home when they should. End of rant.
