In continuation to my thread regarding the problem with the cheek piece on my A-5 stock Mcmillan will send me new inserts and screws so I can fix the stock myself and save the time and paperwork involved in sending it back to the USA, (thank you Ryan for the support)
I have some Devcon 10110 I ordered long time ago and I'll be using it to glue the inserts into the holes in the stock, I would like to have some instructions and tips regarding the correct mixing ratio and application of the bedding compound so I can avoid foolish beginners mistakes.

Thanks

Re: Mixing and application instructions for Devcon

I just bedded a stock yesterday with Devcon 10110. Instructions say to mix at 2.5 to 1 ratio. Mix well until all streaking is gone. Applying it was quite easy, just take your time. At 7:00 this AM I will seperate action from stock. I hope all goes well. I used Mothers Pure Carnuba Wax as a releasing agent. The folks at Devcon said that carnuba works fine.
BTW....The folks at Devcon were very helpful for tech questions regarding their product. Also if any of have a Grainger locally, they usually have Devcon in stock, for those of us that do not like to wait. Good Luck
