With a bit of searching, it used to be sub $200 but that was years back and of course could vary with scope/reticle types. Perhaps 00bullitt can chime in, but the best bet is to call the service department. Here's a link to the current conversion paperwork: http://nightforceoptics.com/pdf/NFO_Factory_Conversion_11Dec2013.pdfnightforce performs reticle changes? what's the cost on this service?
thanks

Im using a pri rail with it . I have an arms for when i find a gen1-2 i know the differences
For strictly banging IPSC sized steel, sure. Otherwise, not me. I would also run a NF 2.5-10 with a velocity reticle before the VCOG on a MK12 "Mod whatever" if BDC speed is what I was looking for, but still capable of fine tuning for conditions. I don't believe SPRs don't need 1x on the bottom end, but they do very well with 10x on the top end. I speak from running a CQBSS on mine for a while and finding a MK12 is too cumbersome to be efficient in close in work, especially when I have a few light carbines already. You being in SOCAL I doubt you'll be doing many hammer pair drills, so I would certainly opt for more magnification instead of 1x and throw an angle/scope mounted red dot or irons if I was really wanting that close range speed and accuracy.About to jump into a non spec mk12( DD MK12 ) I know i am a blasphemer! Would you guys run something like a VCOG with 77gr reticle on your mk 12's?

I would still go with the variable for the larger FOV when necessary. I've done a lot of fixed 10x rapid precision shooting inside 100yds and it sucks. The ability to pick up a target on 3-5x while still rapidly identifying and aiming pays dividends on the clock and efficiency of engagement. The 10x starts paying off around 200yds and you can leave it there for beyond that distance, but I can't tell you how many times I wished the Unertl was a variable going through one course in particular. Thanks for the reply. So at that rate how about something like an s&b 10x42 with a t1 vs an nf 2.5-10x42 and surefire rts
I want a rifle that is mine not a clone of what some one else wanted
