I know some of you lads like seeing pics from Aussieland, snapped these with my brother a couple days ago. His first time LR shooting in the field, he was cracking a tree stump at 985 yds without much hassle (5th pic).
Good times, enjoy and merry christmas to you and your families!

Looks like a great day out.

I drove down from Sydney to Melbourne via Gundegai three weeks back...great countryside...and no-one for miles...thought then it would make for some great shooting!

Have a great Christmas!

It's down in the high country of Victoria. We're "allowed" pistols (the owner MUST meet a minimum number of logged matches in their discipline per year and have all finger prints taken) but not really suppressors - we're not allowed to be considerate and make less noise. The Government assumes that if we were allowed even just a little flexibility there'd be wide spread massacres every day because that's clearly what happens with that kind of gear... Clearly.
New Zealand is only a few hours away, they have much more flex firearm laws - They promote suppressors.

Lever action rifles are fine so are lever action shotguns. While pump action rifles are fine but not EVIL pump action Shotguns.

To have a Semi rifle or pump/semi shotgun, you need a category C/D license which is more for professional pest controllers and firearm dealers.

Extremely frustrating.

The LRF is the bushnell elite 1500 ARC correct, swarovski is only a couple days away... Sick of the screen playing up on the 1500.
