A few of us called it, but some of the arsonists arrested (128 of them total last I read) were from the socialist nutters in extinction rebellion.
More then a few people figured out that there would be a couple of fires started by that group to try and justify meaning
To justify what meaning?

Cook off... guy is lucky to have his eyes!

Mg42 fires So fast the barrel Gets red hot. Cartridge galls or sticks in hot chamber and then gets hot from the barrel steel.

After about 10 seconds, the cartridge detonates. Never trust a hot belted with a cartridge in the chamber. Twist the belt so it can’t run away and wait!!

Guy is lucky if he did t Lose something important!

Our part of the country is pretty safe except for Kangaroo island which is getting plenty of military support, even had C17's landing on a regional airstrip today, they struggled to get off empty. East coast is still bad, navy has been evacuating people from the beaches like Dunkirk. I have a few funerals to attend in the next few days.
Prayers sent to you and Australia !

When that happens, does the case completely fail and shrapnel gets sent all over the place or just hot gas?

Invented in England to compete with the much tastier HP sauce (Houses of parliament) that was all the rage as sauces, chutneys and condiments were taking off in the uk.

Civil War had nothing to do with it. All about the new fad of Formal dining in early Victorian England.

Though I bet it would have been very popular with the troops trying to chew through salt pork, etc!

Cheers, Sirhr
