When we're talking bad critters don't forget the Grizzly Bear. Can take the head off a cow with one swat, can pop the door of a car with its claws, and moves like a cat.
Granted, these are all badass critters. With well earned reputations for being fearsome and brutal. But for the most part, you'll only see their aggression when they're wounded, cornered, or when you mess with their offspring. Otherwise one wiff of you and they're long gone.

More people hurt and/or killed by moose every year. Hell you want to get right down to it the mosquito is responsible for more injuries (sickness) and death than any other animal. For some reason we only have a primal fear of two kinds of animals. Ones that can Consume us (while alive no less) which just kind of messes with your mind a little, and animals that can kill silently with one bite (poisonous).
