I like the old front engine dragsters but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to seriously drive one. Instead, it'd be neat to have a replica of the Coleman Bros dragster, or perhaps an early version of Swamp Rat 14 (no rear spoiler). I can think of so many stupid engines I'd run in one of those, just for the hell of it.

I'm not an "in the know" guy when it comes to the finer points of race engines. But........

Is/was it common to use galvanized pipe and fittings and non-safety wired Castle Nuts on them ? :unsure::eek:
