I didn't even think the nose was right. Top pic, that guy's nose is much narrower just below the bridge. Eyes aren't right either, besides the skull thing. We're not supposed to question the media and big sugar, though.
Back before inside hood latches we would open the hood and pee on the intake manifold.

This one never gets old. TopGun should have paid tribute to this story during the Mach 9 scene. Maverick should have muttered "This one's for you, Sled Driver." and keyed the mic for an LA speed check. He wouldn't have even needed to do it at Mach 9, he just needed to do it above Mach 4.
I'm still waiting for someone to edit that scene into their YouTube version of the movie.

His museum is only 1hr away from me, right up I-75, Exit 341.
The Don Garlits Museum is just a couple miles away from me. It is pretty nice, a bit pricey but worth it. Intersection of I-75 and CR 484.

It's sad but there are people who wouldn't understand the time difference between an asteroid strike of this magnitude and any modern man made structure. There are also those who think the dinosaurs on Jurassic Park are real. And they vote......
