I switched to stainless and cast iron, so these Teflon pans have been relegated to fluid-catching duty. It's coolant flush day for Reich Bike. And, BTW, why didn't BMW, of all the OCD-everything-has-a-specific-special-spec manufacturers, have a specific brand or whatever coolant? All the manual says is "Nitrite-free long-life coolant with added corrosion inhibitor."

3-4 of these carefully punched out with a hole puncher, and inserted into the base of a percussion cap cup formed using a Tap-O-Cap percussion cap tool with an empty beer can reliably ignites FFFg and Pyrodex-P/RS in any percussion lock revolver. Need a good strong mainspring to deliver a solid hammerstrike. Open frame Colts that have been tuned up to produce lighter hammer cocking effort for 'gunfighter' quick draw stages would find these caps a bit finicky to get reliable firing at every round. Hodgdons Triple Se7en and Blackhorn 209 is also tougher to ignite, the trick is to load the base of the chamber with 2 grains of fine ground BP, then load the substitute charge over it...
