Taurus judge with #8 does much better than that rat shit for pistols. Only job my judge has, and it’s damn good at it.I saw that, too.After my very recent big rattler encounter in the driveway at 0200, I ordered in some snake charmers in 22LR, 38special and 45ACP. They arrive tomorrow. About 4.5 feet!!! I have to admit that the first 2 AR15 rounds I got off were in a bit of a panic, mostly a reaction. He was real fucking close to me under my old pickup.

I do have a Judge. I'll have to double check for some 410 rounds. I'd hate to lose a little weiner dog to a fucking snake.

Sneks and kids keep me on watch for copperheads around us. We have a pretty decent population of them, the king sneks help with keeping them in check as well. Any bird shot will work, I just had a bunch of #8 laying around, but any 6-9 shot will suffice as long as your aim is good.

I was pulling a well when I looked down and noticed this little guy watching me from about two foot away.
He graciously donated his rattles for my rattle jar
The missus carries this when she takes the dogs for walks up the canyon
She is very comfortable with it and I have even carried it when I'm fencin' the creek.
Mainly for rattle snakes and porcupines but we are getting a healthy population of big cats and the occasional wolf is seen.
Getting pretty diverse around here since the Elk have moved in.
