Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

10/10 badassery and true Americana points. Now all the police gotta do to top it off is by awarding a neatly printed, laminated, and framed "TOWN IDIOT" certificate to the tards who called them, to be displayed on their front lawn so everybody can see it. 😂
One Memorial Day weekend, we heard the tones and dispatch say "Attention Engine-2, smoke investigation" six different times throughout the day. After the sixth one, the Captain was just as fed up as the rest of us. "Dispatch from Engine-2, Engine-2 is clear, a other Texas bar-b-cue".

We needed that same printed and laminated certificate you speak of.

Had a duce and a half back when I was on volunteer FD. Had two 600 gallon tanks. While responding to a scene, would run 50 mph at top speed, but when you got there, it would go anywhere. Old multi fuel, would almost run on a stick of wood if you could get it into engine…..🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep. I remember running over trees and cutting through dense brush that I didn't really think we would make it through.

Yup, ours (quite a bit newer) will go 60 down the highway but once you get off road, even the grass rigs (pickups) can't keep up with them. They are animals fighting fires out through the hills. Ours are mainly used to support (refill) the grass rigs but are set up to run down a fire line if need be.

Sorry, but no! The bushier, the better! Tropical Rain Forest would suit me just fine. I always love a good game of "Needle in a Haystack!"

And on the plus side, no threat of giant venomous spiders ambushing you as what would happen on a real rainforest trek, hopefully not... 😂
