old Japanese cars had that shift pattern.
Same shift pattern, but you sit on the wrong side. Clutch was still on the left, brake in the middle and skinny pedal on the right. My '81 Skyline Turbo was that way, the Nissan Sunny Vanette (can't rem beer the spelling) had three. (or 4?) on the tree. Okinawa '91-'93, good times!

I had a license, and a car when I was stationed in Japan. Driving on the other side of the road was an experience ...........just like stepping off the curb was.........
For about a year after coming home from England I would randomly relapse and drive on the wrong side of the road.

The first time you find yourself on a road with no oncoming traffic is when you'll screw up. As long as there's a little traffic, no problem.

Many years ago was TDY in Turks Grand Caicos fixing acft. Was in passenger seat and boss was driving back to hotel (on the left side of the road - correctly), after working all night. Drunk guy driving opposite direction in our lane though he was in the states. Head on collision, put my elbow through the windshield. He just forgot he was supposed to drive in the left lane down there.
