That's really rough mate, I'm sorry to hear it. Some good people are being killed by these fires while our pollies take their xmas leave. After reading about Dick Lang, it sounds like he led a pretty awesome life.
He did mate and I am glad to have known and helped him with some of his adventures. Now going to take a bottle of Bourbon and a bucket of ice and sit in the hot tub for a while. The pollies have now committed the Military.
Very nice! but the board is 90* off. It should be set so a white square is in the right corner. That would put the kings and queens on the correct beginning squares. As it is now, the white queen is on her color, but that should be left of the king. The black queen is in the correct position, but she stands on the wrong-colored square. Kings and queens are opposite each other to start, not symmetrical.
The interviews were my favorite parts of the series. Carwood Lipton was my favorite member of the group.

I think the coordinate labels are off by 90 degrees too. He has the pieces setup from a-h. If the board is rotated to white on the right he’ll be setup from 1-8.

I understand completely what you said. But my first thought was if that was my Grandma, I'd change my name and move to the desert so no one knew.
