A little progress on the chess pieces....ended up going flat black on the one set, polished on the other.

Now I need to do a range trip...I never save my pistol brass, so I’ll need to break in my new 92fs I guess. Going to need 256 9mm cases for the board.

I played with one of the other new "Colts" a couple years ago. Lockup was horrible, hammer was piss poor and finish was mediocre at best. Ive had several Colt and S&W revolvers over the years and no way would I even consider one of these now. Id look for a used original.

I've seen a few complaints of messed up crowns in the newly recessed barrels which, ironically, were designed to protect the crown. I could never convince myself to pay 2 grand + for a used one, but always wanted one.

I’m a dumbass that sold a python for a pittance compared to today’s value because I didn’t shoot it at all. We all make mistakes.
