I just have to point out that it is not in this thread that the FBI or ATF that said "military grade". You said it. Whatever definition is in your head you alone own, and in your head it seems to remain.
I will also point out your use of "them" in referring to the FBI and ATF, the use of which I object to. There are at least a few FBI agents who compete in PRS matches on here (well, one of the is a sniper team leader for a big US city, so I am not sure he would be called an agent). I encourage you to seek them out at a match and introduce yourself. You will likely see that we and they disappear.

In my opnion Pickle (and his small time con-game) has no place on the hide and effective moderation would have removed him. I can not fathom how others are forbidden to post about the raffels they are having for charity, but Pickle is allowed to beg for money. The threatening Veer should be the icing on the cake, he should be gone, and not allowed back with a new name.
Well, № 2 12ga is half-weepy with disappointment, but, as you noted prior to this response, the week isn't over yet. She seemed to accept that. Nonetheless, I may need to bench her and give № 1 the nod. As for me, everything is relatively copacetic until it ain't, but I'm still not enthused about the situation, no, not at all. I'm staying more or less in situ until we find a way to dump the wind out of this fruitcake's sails.
Well, I think this is a lot like Trump's election. Hilary thought she had it because she believed the polls but the issue was there was a silent majority who didn't participate in polls and go online and whine about their position, they just quietly voted. I've been a member here a long, long time. And many other places. When I see stuff like this being tolerated by the powers-that-be, I start losing interest. In fact, I'm going to sign off for at least a couple weeks now and see if this is resolved. If not, I'm going to check out for a lot longer. I've learned here, I've contributed here, and I've bought stuff here. If entertaining this sort of BS is more important that my shooting-related participation, I'm going to go places that don't entertain this. My time is too valuable to waste on even seeing such drama. I'm sure there are many others thinking the same thing.

If this thread was happening in "Observation Devices" or "Semi-Auto rifles" or any other forum area then you might have a leg to stand on when you say threads like this distract from your shooting experience. I am fairly sure that you found this site, it didn't find you.
I question if some of you have ever had a gym class or been with a large group of guys. I have never had an "office job". Guys in the non-PC world give each other a ton of shit a lot. And sometimes after years and years it comes to blows. That is just life. I have almost went to blows with a couple co-workers. I have seen it go full force a dozen times or so. Had a co-worker go around to about 1/2 the crew one day and say "just lay on the floor/ground and you will be fine". WTF!!?? 12 LEO met him at the door next day. Side note 3 months later he pointed a 44 mag at fellow driver on the freeway on the way to kill his ex-wife, about 24 LEO stopped him 2 blocks from her house.
Threats come and go, Veer_G and PPB have been going at it for years. I would and I know Veer_G does take PPB serious. Veer_G's description of PPB in the post with the book cover is pretty much right on. PPB has admitted to getting out of a car and attacking a fellow driver, couldn't do much but remove his wiper arms, but still that is violence that he can't or won't control.
PPB knows there is a huge trail the will not do him any favors if him and Veer_G get with in 5 miles of each other. Nothing good can come it. And I would hope PPB knows he has a shit ton more to loose than to gain by pushing the issue past this forum.

It's a bit hard for me to ignore him at this point. He wanted my attention in the worst way, so he got it by threatening to stalk us. I'm usually observant in and out of the house, but now I find myself scanning the treeline. Obviously, he's getting his jollies from this, and anyone poo-pooing it should stop for a moment and consider the threshold for assault. Frankly, we get more het up here over scammers in the PX. Picklebunny needs to understand that kindness is not weakness, patience is not reluctance, and I refuse to give him any more free rent in my head.

When I go to "semi-auto rifles" and see someone post crazy shit I don't respond in most cases. Why give the person the time of day, and let it die. It is amazing how fast threads die in other forums but not the "Pit" purely because people can't help themselves.

Actually i went camping and boating for a few days,and couldnt believe it was still going, but thanks for taking the time.

Here's something I'll pass along that might help novice rafters... (I didn't know so someone else may not either). A rapid is classified by difficulty AND danger. It's kind of subjective. An under cut rock for example in an otherwise mild rapid can up its rating. So a mean looking wave in a river may be very forgiving and rated lower than one that looks mild with danger under the water line. I was hoping to try the Ochoee over labor day but a deer decided to try and commit suicide with the front of my car. All it succeeded in was $1700 in damage. Deductible wiped out my rafting fund.

just to boost everyones spirits i was drinking at the salmon bake once and had to puke. There was no way i could make it to the restroom. I quickly thought damn there must be a trash can in the kitchen so i burst through the door like cramer, and sure enough there was a big blue hinge top can. Opened it up and had a massive barf. The cook runs over pissed and says" why the hell are you puking in the tortia chips!" Im like wtf are the chips kept in a trash can.

After thinking about this for a couple of days, I have to admit that I'm sort of disappointed to find this out. I remember you posting about the Haiti stuff back really early on, and I even sent some money to your cause one time. When the "Hotshotsphotograpy" name disappeared, I guess I kind of thought that maybe you had gone into that noble pursuit full time, and just didn't have time to goof around on forums anymore. I really haven't spent a ton of time here for a long time, and when I do drop in I usually just do a quick skim through to see if anything interesting is happening. It almost never is, so I'm back out within a few minutes. I've never paid much attention to any posts by "Princesspicklebunny" solely because the name is so damned dumb that it didn't strike me as anything that would be worth my attention. So to find out that you are him, and that instead of saving poor Haitians, you've literally been here the whole time posting the dumbest shit on the whole board makes me a little sad. Kind of like finding out that Santa isn't real.
