My First Custom Build

So I have a caliber I like - Weatherby 30-378 and decided to have a custom build.

Built by Doyle Anglin - Dixie Guns - Winder, Ga

Defiant Repeater action
Kreiger Barrel
Jewell Trigger
Custom Maple Stock made by Doyle
Also threaded for a AWC PSR 10.4" can

Could not believe the groups at 220 and then at 550 were super - see the pics

Anyway - Its a hoot to shoot

I am shooting Factory Weatherby Ammo 180 Nosler BST and Accubond with great results

Also shot the 165 Nosler BST but wanted a little heaver bullet.

Ok how do you just stop at one of these??? I mean shooting this is more fun than watching fleas have sex.

Looking into a 300 SAUM - Krieger Barrel - Defiant repeater action and another Custom Stock also a 6.5 Creedmoor built the same way.

That's accurate! I really like shooting that Caliber for hunting. I was able to take a Red Stag shooting that load with 180 AB's at 624 yards. My rifle was not that accurate, it was a stock Wby Accu Mark. The best it would do was a little over 1 MOA at 100yds.
