Rifle Scopes My impressions of the Arken optics EP4 4-16X50

Yes.
Pros: turret feel and repeatability are comparable to scopes north of $1599
glass is comparable to a Leupold vx5 or vx3 I
cons: reticle could use some work, very thin ( Arken is working on new reticle designs)
mag ring is very stiff
scope is heavy and exposed turrets could provide challenges if using for hunting scenarios
overall I will stick to my claim that it is probably the best $600 scope on the market today.

Still stand by my original feelings on the 4-16. I am still using it regularly, still like it and will continue to use it. It gets shot on a lighter weight 308 regularly and it still tracks well and works like it should.
The 6-24 is a good optic but not as much of a value as the 4-16. The 6-24 is a great optic at its price but the 4-16 is amazing for its price.
When comparing the Arken to an Athlon the Arken wins hands down in most things that matter.
I'm still a little skeptical of that... since they JUST delivered mine and it was 146 days. I don't think you can really accurately state "8-10" weeks and even remotely be believed. The supply chain may be improving, but they're not exactly 'up to speed' just yet.
I should have clarified, some models are 8-10 weeks.. I believe the 4-16 has had a much longer wait time for some reason. It’s their best scope IMHO
