Picked up my new 6XC tube gun 3 weeks ago.
A big thank you to Jim & the guys @ Pierce for building me such a nice stick.
Also thanks to Gary Eliseo for spending the time helping me decide upon which options to get & for making a very comfortable stock.
This is a heavy build since my shoulder is not good anymore.
Specs:
Caliber = 6mm XC, using 115gr DTAC BN
Bartlein 1 in 7.5 twist @ 28" with badger brake
Eliseo RTS Tube gun stock
Pierce tubegun action
Jewell trigger
MK4 6.5-20x illuminated, will replace with something else when funds are available.
Currently Atlas bipod, was a rock with raptor feet
Pulled a few shots on these targets, it was 28 degrees & 36 degrees when these were shot. It also didn't help using the spiked feet on the original bipod on a cement bench, they kept slipping all over. Issues now resolved with the Atlas, no more slipping. Still playing with different loads but it looks like it will be a great shooter.
