Well guys it has been another great year/season of shooting in 2009.

First off I would like to thank everyone that makes this event successful and safe. Rob and Sam have done an excellent job as the Match Directors of our LR program. And much thanks to all the shooters that travel from near and afar to participate each month, without the trigger pullers there would be no match.

A big thank you our local sponsors as well. The guys like Mike Cecil with CSTactical, David Kerley with TAC Ready, and Vinny Da Hook with Invincible Safes not only come out and shoot with our club but they help make it what it is today with their generous donations with time and products.

What a weekend! We had 42 shooters show up for practice on Saturday and then 48 shooters showing for game day!

WOW! What a way to end the year huh boys? 20 + mph winds in freaking low 40s. LOL @ 1000 yards the guys shooting 308win with 175s were putting in 15MOA to 18MOA to stay on paper or should I say cardboard. With my 243win pushing DTACs 3000 FPS I was dialing 3.0 to 3.5 mils, max was 3.8 mils to stay on cardboard.

Congrats to Jerry Bowen for taking home 1st Place Shooter of the Year. Jerry was able to fend off the wolves and take home first with a combined score (8 best scores of 2009) of 3142 17X. GAP 260Rem

2nd Place went to Dennis Lorenzo aka D-Lo with 3059 25X GAP 284win and GAP 260Rem
3rd Place went to John Kirkpatrick with 3057 25X Sierra Arms 6.5x284

Congrats to Mr. Joe Ducos for winning Top 20 Shoot Off Champion with 472 0X. Joe hit the after burners at 800, 900, and 1K. While I looked down the lane seeing a lot of black spotters, Joe had 3 white one come up each time.

Congrats to Nick Young for being winning Top 308win shooter of The Year. Nick Young is a freaking stud. He finishes 9th with a stock PSS 308win and B&L 10X scope. No knock on the man's hardware but it just goes to show it's the driver and not the rig. I really want to see Nick behind a go fast rig...he would hurt people's feelers for sure.

Congrats to VINNY DA HOOK for winning the 2009 Rookie of Year award. Vinny has only been shooting with us for a full year now and has done very well with his M700 5R 308win. Vinny is not only a great shooter but also a great sponsor. NCPPRC is proudly sponsored by Invincible Safes.

Thank you Vic, Dennis, and Duel for taking care of our after match meal. That meal hit the spot after freezing all day.

Now for match results with everyone included.

Congrats goes out to Mr. David Kerley!!!! He took home 1st with a score of 537 5X. Look out guys, a hardcore 308win shooter has switched over to a Go Fast rig. And who built this tack driver?

Good times...listening to the wind calls at 1k, and seeing a bunch of black spotters...an eye opener for sure.

My brother had a great time, despite the cold. I think he'll be a regular in no time.

I wish I could have been there.
I always enjoy shooting with the norcal group.
I made the right call by staying on this side of the hill, we have a foot of snow on the ground and it's still coming down.
See you next year!

Your brother was a good sport and really roughed it out.

You and Randall both just dominated the head shots at both 500 & 600 yards. It was cool getting to watch those rounds hit the paper.

See you guys on the next trip up.
