Need Load recipe for Larue OBR 16" shooters

I'm helping a challenged friend find the best recipes for OBR loads. He has a 16" OBR and uses his Surefire can about 75% of the time.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Mine shot really well with varget and either 168 or 175 SMKs.
Really didn't take much effort to find a load that shot well.
And I shot mine suppressed all the time.

My normal 308 recipe worked just fine in my 16" OBR. 43gr Varget, 175gr SMK, 2.810oal

Mine has an 18" barrel, but I'd imagine that the 16" barrel will like similar loads. I've gotten best results with 168gr AMAX and 42.5gr Varget, or 168gr SMK and 41.5gr IMR4895. I take no responsibility for using these loads in anyone else's rifle, work up your own loads to know what is safe in your rifle.

Ditto on this load!

Can substitute 42.0 grains of TAC if you don't want to have to individually weigh each charge.
