Not being able to run the app in airplane mode without Bluetooth is problematic for use while hunting when battery consumption is a big deal.

We have this fixed in our internal version. We will push this in an update but we found a way to make it work. So this won't be an issue here soon. I don't have an exact date. We want to hit on it more. But its working internally so we have a fix for y'all.

Anyone able to connect the Kestrel to the app? Mine just keeps searching and never finds it on my iOS phone.

So far I am really impressed, love the new interface and all the added functionality.

I did prefer the format of having different guns and then different ammo profiles for each gun in the old format. It felt cleaner.

Yep, I really prefered having the profiles organized by rifle myself.

Can someone please explain the 2 wind tabs? The manual only says wind 1 is used for aero-jump. But when I enter wind 1 from 4 o'clock @ 1mph & wind 2 from 10 o'clock @ 3 mph it shows 2 results & directions. Am I supposed to do math? Or just use the wind 2? Unsure...

You will also get Elite if you previously had the app. So it should upgrade for you.

Unfortunately the old method wouldn't allow profile transfers. So to be device compatible we had to make this change. We are looking at ways to help with sorting though.

Never said they won't be included. They just need an update from Vortex so they can be.
