Just checked armasight ‘s website and Jockey recoil rating is now listed at 308. Is this something new?

I’m new to the realm of thermals, so bear with me, but is this saying the Jockey does not require collimating to your day optic?

I had that issue but it's dependent on the settings. I operate mine on the Detect and Forest settings, I think decreasing gain on detect so that there is less bloom when looking up. Got to find those porcupines in the trees.
How do I adjust the settings on the presets like "Forest" and "Detect"? I was under the impresion that the settings on the left side of the screen only apply to "Default" setting on the right side. If I can get rid of the blooming I'll keep the sidekick 640. Also do you see faint lines on the disply even after nucing?
Nope! They apply to whatever setting you have on the preset at the time you mess with them.
Thanks! Just found that out messing with it. Can't get rid of all the blooming but I think that's what you have to live with with that 19mm lens and large 24 deg FOV. It's just not as apparent in my old Incendis 384 becaus it has a 35mm lens and smaller 10.7 deg FOV so it's more forgiving. But that Sidekick 640 is small and handy so it's going on my helmet.

Is this ugly or what? Comes factory-collimated they say and is rated up to .50 BMG per GunsAmerica YT.
I apparently suck at searching, can anyone confirm the butler creek scope cap size that will fit the eyepiece lens on the sidekick 640? I measured at 33.98mm, which looks like a size 03 object lens cap which is 34mm. for transporting in a pouch I don't think I want an eyepiece cap with the flip up lever, thanks!

Is anyone running the sidekick 640 with the ravyn bridge and a PVS14? I'm looking for a pouch it will fit in for using with a chest rig, or on a battle belt, that kind of thing. I medium pouch I bought from spiritus isn't wide enough, especially not with the padding insert. It doesn't seem like any of the pouches I currently have are wide enough, except for the one my pvs-14 from TNVC came in. Curious how other people are transporting it attached to kit.
Yes, I am running that setup. I run them in a milspec pvs14 pouch. Both fit in on the bridge fine together. I am not attaching to my chest right though. It would be too large for the spiritual fanny pouch that hangs beneath my chest right, at least on the bridge.
Candidly that setup is either staying on my helmet or I'm running goggles and tossing the sidekick into the pouch in smaller form.

The Arbor Arms large pouch should fit it, I have a 14 and StingIR on the Ravyn bridge.
I can double check when I get home tonight.
Well... Bad news, they don't really fit in that pouch on the bridge together. You could possibly just force it down in but that isn't a guarantee.
Find a pouch just a bit wider and it should be like a glove.
So...I just snagged one. Firmware 5115. Can anyone supply settings and preset best for pairing with an L3 WP SG tube 14 in a Rayvn? Also, JW, others, has anyone tested actual fps of latest update? Further...does fps vary based on setting?
