Im not brand new, Ive been a member for about a month or less, but never got around to my intro. I recently moved to Colorado for work with my wife and almost 2 year old daughter. Grew up in Montana, lived in Wyoming for last 8 years, gotta say that Im surprised at CO politics and mindset. Guess I assumed it was like MT and Wyo here also but not so much. Anyway, Ive gone through many phases in my firearms life, cowboy/lever actions to shotguns for trap/skeet, pistol shooting, now I'm going to try my hand at long range. I have got a rem 700 5r in 300 win on the way that my Cop brother hooked me up with for a bit less than retail. Ive taken his department armorer to heart and am using a badger 20 moa mount with medium badger rings. I've got a vortex pst 6-24?x50 moa <-dont remember mag. I'll shoot it that way for awhile, probably 10 minutes before changing things up. I really want to put a manners stock witha dbm and mini chassis on it but saving my pennies for awhile. Thinking t4, but like looks of t1 and t6. Never handled any of them but from reviews Im sold on manners, plus Ive had some email corespondence and they are great to deal with. Alright, hope I can contribute some to the site, probably more of a reader than a writer though.
