New member here with a question about barrel fluting

I recently bought a new Tikka T3 Stainless and I have been looking at a bunch of posts on here about fluting barrels. I spoke with a local gunsmith and he said that I should not flute the barrel on the Tikka because it is hammer forged and will cause barrel twist. Is this true and if not who should I contact about getting this done? I know there is a gentleman on here with Pro Precision Rifles and it looks like he does excellent work. I'm thinking about giving him a call. Thanks.

X2! Kampfeild's lines are increadably crisp, and all of his work is meticulously done.

I think based on his website though he's only accepting fluting work on barrels currently off of the receiver.
