Hi Guys,

Just finished unpacking the rifle so 2 crappy cellphone pics will have to do for now. Will update them when I go to the range on saturday.

Its a Roedale RT43 (Tikka action) with Roedale brake and bipod. On the top is a March 3x24x42 ffp scope. It's a Roedale chassis with Viperskins.

Hope you like it

I love it, I'm a huge Tikka fan. Definitely update with a range report, I'm always interested in Roedale rifles. I need to pick up a Tikka bolt handle from him.

Thats the shit, Pete Lincolns stocks are first class, i had an RCS on my tikka and it was very well made to every detail.

The March is amazing, especially the combination of the small package (only 614 grams) with the high power. The 3x low is also a nice bonus for the shortrange shots.

I also fondled the new Steiner 5x25x56 Pete had for testing yesterday. What a colossus compared to the March. Just a bit to much in my vieuw. The knobs where almost palm size.

The fit is perfect, only on the back where all the skins come together you kan see some lines. I suspect that if I take some the skins of and realign them it will be flawless.

The rest of the fitting is perfect and seemless. The bipod is amazing. So stable and strong but so light.

But as always, the proof is in the shooting. Can't wait to take it to the range.

Very nice stick Pete build for you BlueVFRank, have fun with it!
How long did you wait for the rifle?

Thanks

Wait time was 2 weeks for the paperwork!

The rifle was on the shelf and just what I wanted. Nowadays he usually has a couple of these in stock in 308 and even 260 (verry tempting but that would put me in F-open with my little gun).

Load development is showing it's a shooter and not picky.

Shooting 155 SMK (old type) at 2.85 inch. Shots touching when I do my part (first own rifle so i mess up some shots) This load development was done at 100 meters. +/- 43 grains of N140 seems to be the sweetspot. +/- 2625 fps out of a 25 inch barrel. Good to remain supersoninc to about 850 meters at sealevel (where I life it's actually below sealevel!

Thanks for your reply BlueVFRank.
Did you see or hear if he got anything in 6,5mm caliber in stock?

Thanks

Short range update. I've got 200 shots downrange now and the gun can hold .35 MOA groups at 110 yards consistantly with me behind the rifle. I'm sure a good shooter can get this down even further.

Was doing some load development for shortrange matches 100 and 300 meter. Bottom row was Lapua 185 Scenar with 38 grains of N140. Made first shot, adjusted and the other four shots without further adjustments.

After doing all the single shots I shot one group for fun. Ended up a nice 5 shot group of .343 MOA CTC at 110 yards (100 meters. I love this gun.
