New to Chassis...need accessories

I've got a Mcree chassis coming and have never been crazy about the stock M16 pistol grips. Who makes a beefier/fatter grip that will fit the Mcree chassis? Any other accessories that I should consider? I've seen what they offer on their site in regards to rail mounts and stock packs. Somewhere I saw a bubble-level built into the stock near where it folds, but I can't find one for sale anywhere. Is this not an aftermarket option?

Would this grip from Brownells work? BG-16 Ergo grip

Any others I should look at? Thanks in advance!

These are my favorite. The one in the OP is just as thin as a normal grip, just angled back more. The Ergo has a nice palm swell.

MIAD/MOE grip for me, too. Simple as it gets. I don't like fancy stuff on my grips.

i had the ergo on mine and its what i liked, the first thing i did when i got my g5 was change the grip.

I've got the same grip as Spartan above (it's a DPMS Panther Grip I think). The LaRue A-PEG grip is really comfortable. I've switched two rifles using that now.

The ergo is a very popular grip for use on chassis systems. If however you have smaller hands take a look at the BCM gunfighter grip.

I have a magpul moe+ grip with the rubberized texture on my mcree, it works great and allows you to get a solid grip. Iv looked for the anti cant levels before for the mcree but have never seen them for sale. Id give Scott Mcree a call and ask him. He has always been more than helpful on the phone and usually easy to get ahold of.

Thanks for all this info. I have another question, this thing didn't come with directions, but I think I've read on here about having to put or torque the action into the chassis in a certain order or even what torque to use on them? Is that right, or do I just put it in and go...not rocket science? It's a Rem 700 SA.

you ever swapped stocks before?

I'm pretty sure it's 65 INCH (not foot) pounds on the action screws.

as far as order, I've done it a few times starting front to back and back to front, no difference that I've noticed.

I'm looking to get a McRee later this year, so when you get yours put together post some pics. Love me some gun porn

I know this will sound weird but this is from an article (read review) I just read today.

Thanks. Yes, i've swapped stocks before and use a FAT wrench. I just thought I'd read a thread somewhere about a technique(?) for installing chassis...maybe it was for an AI? Anyway, I contacted Mr. McRees and he put me straight. Thanks for the help none-the-less.

Older thread, but have a McRees chassis on the way and looking at different grips, has anyone had tried the Tapco SAW grip on theirs and what did you think of the grip angle? For those who've modified their grips, what tools did you use to get the best results?

Ergo tactical deluxe is also my favorite ar grip. What receiver set is that?

What was his recomondation on the chasis torque? If u dont mind me asking.
i just picked up a used left hand mcree chasis from here .
