I've looked through my reticle info book, searched on the net and can't find what I'm looking for.

I have a NF 5.5-22x50 with the MLR. What is the width of the 0.5 and 1.0 mil lines? As an example to help understand what I'm asking, the Leupy TMR is 0.15 mil wide for the 0.5 mil hash and 0.40 wide for the 1.0 mil hash?

If there's a link or another thread like this out there. Please feel free to post it. Thanks.

Re: NF MLR Dimensions

I've wondered the same thing, but never been motivated enough to find out for sure. My best guess is that the 1.0 mil hashmarks are 0.25 mil in length, and the 0.5 mil hashmarks are 0.1 mil in length. However, this is just a guess. The easiest thing to do is call tech support at NF and they can tell you. I've bugged Ken with numerous questions and he has always been extremely helpful.

Well, I was looking through the scope for quite a bit and made an educated guess. 1/4 mil hash marks at 12 and 3 o'clock are 1/16 mil with 1/16 mil space between crosshair. The 1.0 mil looked to be the same width as the 1/4 mil hash marks. So, 1/8 mil on each side of the crosshair for a 1/4 mil width. The 0.5 mil hash looks the same as the 1/16 mil hash mark. 1/16 and 1/16 for a 1/8 width 0.5 mil hash.

I just got off the phone with a NF rep. I asked the question and he didn't exactly know. However, he and a few guys talked and they agreed the same thing. I guess I'm going to set up a target and mil it out to make sure.
