I'll admit that I knew there was/is corruption in the government. Crony capitalism and petty bullshit covering for themselves and their insider trading.

We're all putting our money on a dead horse. If, over the past four years, the government had wanted to rule of law to prevail, it would have. Clearly, it does not.

government is a pure parasite. washington's main purpose is to promote and protect itself. capitalism is allowed to exist to the extent it can be used for their selfish purposes, which includes buying votes with taxpayer money. it's a horrible system, except for all the rest.
Sadly, you are correct, nothing is going to come from this. The corruption is steeped into every fiber of our system. If someone is not actively on the take they are careful to not stir the swamp too vigorously else they wind up committing suicide. This is just a grand shit show to keep us entertained whilst they continue business as usual in the back room. What has changed is the curtain to the back room has been opened just a slit and they don't care. The system will not touch them and they know it, it's getting to the point where they won't even hide anymore and just give us the FU and laugh.

He then asked the same basic question you pose above. She said that Americans always tend to move toward liberalism during a crisis and after that move proves to be a disaster they move away from it.
My take? We may not recover from this kind of socialist liberalism. We are deep into a civil war. I am not sure how many realize that but the sooner they do the better. We are going to see things in this country during the next several years that we never thought possible.

Why? Because you have two irreconcilable forces pitted against each other. On the one you have those who view the Constitution, as Obama said, "an antique" . Also as president elect biden said..."the second amendment was not meant for individuals." On the other side you have those who view the Constitution as to be taken in it's plain sense meaning. China has absolutely nothing to do with those factors.

It’s a two-front war. But the root cause for a overwhelming preponderance of this country’s issues can be traced back to the CCP. They are the head, cut it off and the rest of the body (domestic enemies) is much easier to deal with and dies off fairly quickly

is the enemy at the gates....they are inside now. Take the 1st amendment for example. Free Speech? Not so fast. Now it is free only if it is free of hate speech....who decides what "hate" is? The 2nd would "no longer apply to individuals". Now look at the 4th...the right to be secure in your person, place, or things. Not so fast. The securing of personal information without warrant is rampant now. I could go on but it would be a few pages. So bottom line. Does anybody in the damn room see what I am talking about and the danger we are in or can I get at least one Amen?!

Many of us are. Our ancestors were doing a bit more than peaceful protest over things like this but we must "whisper our protests and pass into silent obscurity."
Sadly at least half of America has to learn the hard way, usually by economic disaster, that success is getting what you want but happiness is wanting what you get. I don't know what form the coming crisis will take but I do know it will be as bad as 1929 or worse.

Most of us here understand exactly what the term "New World Order" means and what it will mean for the United States. That is one of the reasons Trump had our signature removed from the U.N Arms Trade Treaty. So on paper you have not gotten rid of anything in our Constitution...you have simply subjugated it to another authority.
Hillary Clinton wanted to commit the U.S. to a U.N. facilitated "treaty agreement" that would, if our Senate approved it, essentially bypass or subjugate our 2nd Amendment to international approval or disapproval through the U.N.
(I'm not blowing smoke here guys....check out the incredible power the Senate has in making binding treaties with foreign entities. It is a real eye opener!)

If you want to stay on top of what's happening, you need to watch Steve Bannon on americasvoice.news at 9am central time daily. He always has on members of Trumps legal team, and other movers and shakers that are getting traction in the courts and legislators that you DON'T hear about in the mainstream media. The "steal" is starting to crumble, but you wouldn't know it by listening to the mainstream media.
What everyone should do is call your US legislators and demand they OBJECT to seating democrat legislators from the contested states.

Sometimes we do but only if we keep up with what is going on. Unfortunately many seniors just go to "geezer homes" assisted living facilities or Florida and tune out!
