Haven't our brethren in the South had their history and culture dragged through the mud enough!
I for one am a yankee - born and bred via green carded Canuckians - that will stand on the Mason Dixon line and like a Masshole that preceded me and while standing before a border of other sorts declared his solidarity with those on the other side......

Nothing says that they're going to remain there, a few blocks north and east of the genteel silk-stocking Rittenhouse Square district. There's no telling what the police reaction is going to be like. Undoubtedly it will be more cooperative than adversarial. Between the protest and Rittenhouse Square lie Chestnut and Walnut Streets, with some high-ticket shopping and restaurants.

I think the concern is that these "events" could be bait trying to get an otherwise sane and rational normal person to act violent and conduct an act that would play into the hands of the lunatic fringe.

We went to Comic-con in Tucson yesterday afternoon, evening. Granddaughter got Billy Dee Williams' autograph. She was costumed as Han Solo, I did a small tribute to Aliens by wearing my Weyland Corp tee.
While leaving around 7 PM, we saw there was a fairly large table set up outside, between the venue and the parking lot, with a big sign announcing resistance, and a handful of basically quiet, peaceful people. Folks exited the venue on a footpath about 100ft from the table, with a "Meh" attitude.
My first Comic-con, it was nice enough. Sorta fringe, I got a couple of posters autographed, and bought a trio of books featuring the work of Frank Frazetta.
All was well when we left.

Im on my second MRE meal packet and the smoke from my third pack of Marlboros has completely filled the bunker. My ham radio tells me all is quiet so far in this sector. I have intently been listening for the sound of a Star Wars Walker approaching which would indicate a 400 pound member of Antifa clad in spandex would be heading toward my hide. I have my Claymore clacker handy and wont hesitate to initiate a surprise in defense of me and mine. Im thinking Ill have to shit soon but with only two packets of MRE paper to utilize and not wanting to mess up the paint on my repro re-enactor M1 steel pot Im in a quandary of what to do. Part of me intends to take a page from my enemies book and utilize the excreta as a special welcome for the fascists hordes when they approach a certain hell they have no knowledge that is impending.

Pretty quiet up here in fly over country. The excitement around here is moving 4-6" of wet snow that blew in yesterday and last night. Hard to bitch about the injustices of the world when one has to shovel out a place to bitch.
I really should clean and oil the AR and 1911 (just in case) and make sure all the mags are stuffed full. But, the Child Bride made a wonderful egg bake for a late brunch and I've been moving snow all morning. Time for a nap, then a short list of honey-dos. We might head over to the Granary later for a cup of excellent brew and listen to the rural intellectual hippies moan and groan about how their latest empowerment (entitled) grant didn't come through.
Life is calm up here. That may change someday, but for now we'll take it.

I don't smoke and the Marlboros made me dizzy which caused me to vomit in my bunker. The issue with that is that my bunker is in my living room on my wifes silk blend carpet......she is going to kill me.
The wetness of the vomit is now breaking down the cardboard boxes that comprise my battlement....it is starting to collapse about me but I will persist.
The kids keep asking what the smell is from outside my force multiplying embrasure.

War is hell and vigilance requires sacrifice.
I started to feel better after I puked although my bunker was getting gamy. The effort is really taking its toll on me but if we succeed the sacrifices will be so worth it. We should consider ourselves the only true heirs of the sacrifices made in historic places like Lexington, Saratoga, Gettysburg, Belleau Wood, Iwo Jima, Khe San and Fallujah.
Ive been deprived now a full 6 hours or so. I started to feel the call of my human side, a certain stirring and stiffening, if you know what I mean. A feeling Im sure many of my fellow comrades have experienced.
In the darkness of my bunker I decided I would "scratch this itch" and let my guard down for a moment after all I am only human and rubbing one out seems a small pleasure my country would allow me as I man the front lines.
I took matters "in hand".
Anyway at the moment of money shot the scotch tape holding my fortification together let go and there I was in the collapsed pile of cardboard, mid living room, caught pants down wearing one sock, with my wife, kids and mother in law in attendance.
At that moment my wife observed the vomit and another bio hazard bodily fluid on her rug and with little respect for Patriotism and love of country she shattered a broom handle off my head.
So when this is said and done Ill probably get a Purple Heart but for now Ive retreated to my AMC Pacer and will be monitoring the defense on my citizens band radio.

Really glad now I didn't buy high on Alcoa stock. Can see it plunging now.
I checked with several LE sources, they didn't even put out an alert, much less a standby, or call list, seems they had more accurate sources than others, imagine that.
But on the home front, we got 10 deer stands up. No anti-fa deer showed up, and so far, only one anti-fa pig, with her welfare children showed up, now they are motherless. Might be a couple more pass b4 dark. Might find some cheap foil to wrap them in for the grill since the "horde" didn't invade, be a bunch of foil going to waste so to the pig/grill it will go.
And being the admin profile type person I am, I suppose I should be grateful I wasn't properly "taken care of" today... heehee.. somebody's prophecy was a little off, I suppose they will put me on another days list. ha..
But the night is still young, and much can happen while the ribs are grilled.

Well, no antifa showed up in my way so I didn't have to shoot anyone today. It was almost a good day except a migraine exploded in my head halfway through a FITASC tournament and I had to withdraw. Now that sucked........trying to endure through 100 targets shooting 437 grains of lead shot at 1250 fps with a migraine was not cool.
Nice buck. Small body or huge head, i dunno.

HAHA. I spilled some bourbon. The room was dead quiet when I started laughing, which woke my dogs who then chased the cat out of room. 1J, I don't have an explanation for that. I have a bit of a square head, but...?
We have a number of 150 class bucks running around, so for the rest of the season it's either one of them or nothing. Though I may take a few does to feed some families in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
