Rifle Scopes NXS or ATACR

Trijicon AccuPower 4.5-30 is another option to consider..
I have a trijicon 5-20x50, and it is possibly the worste $1k+ scope ive ever owned.... explaination: reticle size is ridiculously large, no decent reticle choices for hold over & absolutely the worste as far as max turret travel..... but its trijicon and like leupold they sell the name not the product.....

Actually i stand corrected, i have the accu point 5-20x50..... and what i said is true for it, not familiar with the accupower

See thats where people just plain have different opinions, i had a accupoint 5-20x50 and to me it was one of the better sub1k scopes ive ever had. By far superior glass than most in its class and dang near as good as a nxs, but yes the turrets werent great and didnt have near enough travel.

The eye box on the trijicon is way bigger and brighter, the brightness and clarity of the glass in the trijicon is far better. The turrets are kinda mushy on the trijicon, and pretty dang good on the xtr. But the trij did seem to track well like the xtr. To my eyes the difference in glass was extreme. But the difference in turrets is also kind of huge the other way also. But to me id rather be able to see what im shooting at then be able to dial to it and not see it, if that makes sense.

I see what your saying and looked into the accupower..... and the accupower is my scope of choice right now......

I had the green triangle post reticle, yes the reticle itself was pretty big but it was impressive how fine you could aim with the point of the triangle and it did lend itslef to fast target accuisition especially for yote hunting, but not great for long distance use since there were no other marks for holdover or windage. But if you dial everything it wasnt bad at all.
