At one point, I PMd Russ and Ney1. I didn't get e reply from either.
Again, once you reach someone, you get great service. But reaching someone can be a huge pain in the ass.
Negative ghost rider.......
I responded as best I could to your very lengthy PM. You have to understand, I don't work AT DTA. I run DTM. Two separate companies at two separate locations. I do not have access to shipping, production, actual CS or anything else DTA related. I accuracy test warranty guns and barrels, test new products and i'm just an all around jovial guy, that's it.
If you go back and read other posts, you are the first to ever say I haven't responded. I literally print out all PM's and responses until the issue is closed for this very reason. We are using a non-company source to communicate company business. Nick has already said on here that he would rather not get PM's on here as he isn't on here all the time to address them. I on the other hand do spend a fair amount of time on here and do what I can to address issues and questions.
Abq, I figured you got your answers and were content with them but didn't respond. I did not call you out in public saying so. Maybe a quick PM asking if I got yours would have been a better route. Obviously you didn't get mine.
My work phone, my personal cell phone, work email and personal email have all been readily available for anyone who asks. Believe me, I take calls 7 days a week and damn near 24/7 to help out whoever I can.
Very few people get on here to say that they sent their barrel in for warranty only to have me shoot it and send it back. They don't want to admit that they don't shoot well. I was out with a guy last weekend, a local guy who's new A1 shot 2MOA. With his ammo I fired a 1/2 MOA group. Made a couple changes to the rifle and fired a 1/4 MOA group. By the end of the outing his groups shrunk from 2 MOA to sub 1?2 MOA. I was out again today with a buddy who just got a DTA, he was having issues with a 26" 308. I shot it and it was sub 1/2 MOA WITH HIS AMMO. He started over and slowed down, low and behold a lil coaching and patience and he realized that nothing was wrong. I have coached dozens of guys on what they are doing wrong. I have warrantied 2 barrels in the time that I have worked here. Nick, to my knowledge hasn't charged you guys for my time or ammo to return your GOOD barrel because of user error and lack of ability. Creature sent me his barrel and it was not capable of holding the half MOA guarantee, it was a solid 3/4 minute barrel, my press monkey is using it for a practice barrel. The fact that FedEx dropped the ball has nothing to do with DTA or their customer service.
Guys, this is a small company that was swarmed with orders. Be patient, PM me, I guarantee you will get a response or as 50+ guys have gotten, my phone number so I can help you out.
