The bottom line is that all this talk of gun bans, registration, 'buy-backs' and confiscation has to stop. No American politician or candidate for office should be openly advance plans for wholesale confiscation and deprivation of our 2A rights, regardless of what side of the isle they are on. We are not fucking subjects. The sooner we make that clear to these leftist assholes, the better. By whatever means necessary.

We, the people, are no longer represented by those in Washington. We had the House and Senate as well as the Presidency in Washington and we could not get anything positive for gun owners passed, nothing. We have die hard leftist liberals in the democrat party and 80’s Democrats in the Republican Party. We have no more conservative leaders in Washington will to represent their constituents. Matter of fact most do not represent the will of the people and pass laws based on what THEY think we need, like they are our rulers. Because they refuse to listen to us they no longer represent us. Seems to me this country needs another revolution to ensure we are properly represented. The Tree of Liberty is about to have a growth spurt if they don’t see the writing on the wall.

Whenever there is an article posted here about some guy that made a stand defending his home/property from the nazi gov and got mowed down as a result, the majority of comments are usually ...."The guy was a nut..." or..."He went about it the wrong way."...."Hes giving gun owners a bad name." All the groups that get shit done aren't to lazy/ afraid/ etc to show up for a rally/ march/ parade. Groups that do in mass are getting more rights by the day while we get less. I think many of us are individually "ready for it" but by nature don't like the parade idea. Hell, I don't love it myself but we have to get a message across soon and it has to be a SHIT TON of us. We're gonna have to take the step and organize. Gonna have to throw caution to the wind and get behind someone. People who are saying it will continue to be one at a time and looked at as domestic terrorists/ whack jobs by the media are right until we can mass something with serious numbers. Its hard to get behind somebody who you don't fully agree with. All the ORG's have something wonky. Who's the leader/ org we can all get behind and when is the first rally? Do we organize groups by state then head to DC? Im not a political organizer but I'd be happy to join in something that makes sense. Bitching about it here isn't doing shit but apparently further dividing us. The goddamn NRA should be the one putting together a rally but they have/are becoming less pro 2a by the day it seems and people are having a hard time getting behind them anymore. If we got half the NRA members and bunch of you guys that don't want to be "members" of anything to flood DC in a peaceful march for the 2A they would have to start to get the point. Problem is, it would have to be a true million+ of us. I would bet a vast many here aren't willing to make the trek which makes me think they will also be the ones happy to hand em over because its too much effort not to comply. There needs to be a day, in DC, one purpose: don't fuck with the 2A and COTUS! YOU need to spread the word and YOU need to show up. How bout July 4 2020, just throwing it out there. Make a "vacation" of it, take the family. Not my idea of fun but i'll go for the greater good.

I admit - I have never attended a protest or activist event in my life but that will have to change if I want to keep the liberties I currently have. That’s in addition to materially supporting pro-2A groups more than I have in the past and writing more letters (emails) to representative, etc.

You can bet your freedom that those same folks will be nailing you to the wall for any infraction they can find or even made up stuff and will be coming up with crazy things like arresting you for disobeying a lawful order when they are actually issuing unlawful orders violating your constitutional freedom at the time.
Even if both sides were treated the same, the Communists/Anarchists don't care about having criminal records / prohibitions on them, as they never intend to follow the law and just intend to be a burden on society instead.

We already continue to allow it. Look at taxes. I am taxed 6 ways to Sunday and they are taking more. This year the road tax went up, my power bill went up because of some kind of gov relief funding that we away, so it’s $40 higher per month than last year. My internet and phone and all went up about $40 as well, the reason, gov fees that didn’t exist 10 years ago. My property taxes went up. As if all the fucking tax money I pay than as it is ain’t enough I have to pay more through fees and other BS. We are already allowing it to happen and they will disarm us and bleed is dry. The time of organize has long passed. We do need to do something in force, now. I keep getting squeezed yet haven’t had a significant raise in 10 years.
Agreed. And if the NRA really gave a shit they’d be organizing one. That’s why I only give them the minimum each year cause my ranges require it. But, there is a march planned, I posted a link to it the other day. It’s planned for 11/2. I’ll see if I can find it again and repost the link in a minute.

I'll have to read up on the agenda. Assuming its not planned for a a cold dead hands/ armed so we get arrested type rally I might have to burn a few days. Anybody wanna carpool from CO? Straight thru, camp, rally, straight through home?
Its getting bad when I, who absolutely despise the city/traffic/ people these days, am actually thinking of doing this. Can't imagine what a complete shitshow it would be trying to park etc in DC.

Our government has already tried taking something away - prohibition - and the “unintended consequences” were a doubling of the violence and crime it was supposed to end..... but it took 13 years of bloodshed before they figured it out. The rich and connected got to do what they wanted anyway. The criminals capitalized on it and created crime empires because of it. Normal Joes just paid for it on the new underground black market - so nobody went without. Many people were shot down in the streets - including lots of law enforcement people. And the government lost out on millions and millions of tax dollars as a result as well. And for what again?

If you want to understand the significance, look up all the photos of the whole area this was going down in.
