my new Cruzr XC saddle with my modded Lone Wolf hand climber i use as my platform set up 8lbs total and some views from it.....Good Hunting!
How do you like hunting out of the tree saddle? Thinking about trying one in place of a climbing stand on public land.

RoughRider whats your setup you got there? Its a good looking bow. Had my grandpa's old Bear Kodiak out this weekend hoping to try some broadheads i made on a whitetail but just no luck.

Those old bears are great man. Good looking bow! What’s the specs on the homemade broadheads?

Its a Dan Toelke Curlew 60”. At my draw of 30.5 it’s 63 pounds. He’s out of Montana. The limbs are action-boo cores with Osage limbs and a mango riser (I think haha). I shoot a custom rhino 8 strand endless loop string. Super quiet.

I shoot full length Easton axis 340’s with 2 blade magnus broadheads at 150 grain. They pack a punch.

Sorry I nerd out on my recurve.

Very cool. I've seen a few of his bows on a traditional bowhunting Facebook page and a few on tradgang. Good looking bows. The broadheads I made are from an old circular saw blade, and weigh about 175gr. I went with a single bevel. 2.35in long and 1.26in wide. I fixed them into a screwing glue on adapter. Just did some changes with my arrows they're Easton XX75 2117. Cut to 28.25in just added 100gr brass inserts with 10gr point weights as well. Much differ than the old aluminum inserts and my 125gr Magnus Stingers and Bear razorheads. Although they've done me very well in the past. Just trying something new.

Pretty heavy arrows yeah? Sounds like a solid combo! I have the Easton break off 75 grain inserts, they’re really nice.

Single bevel is where it’s at. Hope you get to stick something!

Yeah that's what I get from watching the Ranch Fairy on YouTube lol. My overall weight is 635ish. I have some other shapes cut out I'm working on but getting the straight single bevel ground is just so easy. But the experimenting is fun. Looking at getting longbow after I finish a rifle project and fully intend to try cedar arrows and hope to haft my own points to them lol.

Good luck to you with your hunting ventures.
