What didn’t you like about it?
A buddy of mine had one too... wasn't a fan.

His front sight was loose... we thought he just sucked at shooting. Sent it back, and they fixed it.

I am a fan of the CZ TSO SAO... they are tough to beat out of the box. The Czechmate (discontinued) is a really fun gun that is super tunable.

I know I may be in the minority here but I would buy a .22 Smith and Wesson 41 and put an Ultradot on it. Entire package ought to run you less than 1.5k and you can buy some Eley ammo and some B8C targets. Shoot it with one hand at 25 yards. It is very difficult and very rewarding. If you want to spend more for something you can go with a Pardini SP competition kit.

You want fun then get something comped while you're doing this, whatever you choose.

If you don't have a size limit, go with a big comp as well, like 3 top ports with a side port on each side, really keep things flat.

Both my P320s have twin port comps, I don't consider going back, not even to the single port, and I conceal carry these. Springer Precision has a 3 top port with twin side port comp for them, may buy one just to mess around with, though it'll add a good chunk of length that'll kill carry-ability.

Anyway, they're quick, flat, they make things easier, mine are absolutely reliable with the DPM recoil systems, I actually run the heaviest springs in them.

So, whether you go 2011, CZ, or striker, think about running a big compensator to bring the fun and enjoyment up.
Compensators are crutches
