It's an archaic system that should go away already. Our Constitution is a nice document and all, but it's not perfect. Hence why it's been amended so many times to keep up with the times. My biggest problem with the Electoral College and the main reason why I won't ever vote unless it goes away is it guarantees our votes do NOT count. And don't give me this bullshit about if it goes away then big cities will control the country. Anyone who's visited big cities knows that people who live in big cities are some of the most apathetic people when it comes to voting. So if anything, it will be the red flyover states that control the country due to how much folks who live in those states value their voting rights. And as far as foreign and domestic meddling in our elections goes, that has always happened and will continue to happen.

So yeah, for me I say ditch the Electoral College and replace it with Popular Vote. If not, then stop lying to young voters telling them their votes count when they really don't. How's that for a compromise?

Lady was working at a nice vacation resort in Bastrop TX and that was an amazing insult to her, a lady who works her butt off for a living. Lady was amazing and super smart so I gave her a $50 tip to try to make up for the retardation of a lib.

I know a lot of people who have little to no college and are darn smart.
My dad retired at 60. No education.
Everything payed for, zero debt (even cars).
Companies call him still asking for his advice on products their engineers are having trouble with.

Lots and lots of smart people who dont have 100k plus of education loans and piss poor job prospects.

Instead reality fucked them right in the ass so they have to move into shitty apartments in the city since it’s the only place they can afford to live and still make their student debt payments.

But the most fucked up part about it is how it happened, Liberal primary school teachers push kids into liberal colleges where they spend $80k+ to get indoctrinated by liberal propaganda for 4 years. They get trapped in these loans because the Democratic politicians took over the student loans and gave colleges a blank check to raise pricing year after year knowing they have a steady stream of indoctrinated youths to fill the ranks.

However once they get out and realize their schooling can only get them a $30k/yr job they feel trapped and look to someone to help them. That someone comes in the form of the Democrats offering to wipe their debt away if they get them elected completely ignoring the fact that those mother fuckers are the reason they are in that position in the first place.

I graduated from engineering school in 2014 and my brother graduated in 2019, so our experiences cover almost a decade. Generally speaking the engineering classes themselves were apolitical, this is partially due to the fact that many teachers were not citizens and partially due to the fact that half the students weren’t citizens so discussing American politics is pointless when it doesn’t affect half of them anyway.

However for the gen ed classes we were forced to take to be “well rounded students”, 90% of them were straight up liberal bullshit. I had a class where the old ass teacher spouted off liberal talking points for 15 weeks and didn’t even bother giving us a final or any real work at all. Gave me an extra 50 minutes a day to do my engineering homework. Another one was supposed to be about history but instead boiled down to “how white people ruined this country”. I would give more examples but I spent more time doing my engineering work in those classes that I honestly completely forget the majority of them.

My brother on the other hand during his schooling spent 4 days in the hospital with pneumonia. After he got out he went on Friday to get caught up even though his note from the hospital said he wasn’t to go back to class until Monday. All his engineering teachers were glad to see him back on his feet and happy to accommodate getting him caught up. One of them was nice enough to let student affairs know so that all of his teachers would be notified of his hospitalization and make accommodations for him to make up his work.

The black lady that ran his race and diversity class though? That bitch refused to acknowledge the three emails sent from both him and the school to inform her that he was in the hospital and when he showed up to class early to talk to her she demanded to see his hospital discharge papers before she would consider letting him make up the missed work. This was immediately after telling the black girl ahead of him that she could take all the time she needed to finish the assignment after she missed class due to a doctors appointment with no proof at all. Needless to say my brother was pissed.

When my brother went to lodge a complaint with student affairs the girl behind the counter about had a stroke when my brother told her that until she realized he didn’t actually give he them since he didn’t have them on him. But in the end nothing was done and my brother continued to lose points in class for stupid shit whenever she felt like it because she was annoyed he reported her. Add in another class where the loud mouth multihaired bitch in the front seat screamed at anyone that had an opinion that wasn’t “ultra liberal” with a professor never corrected her and my brother was pretty much done with that school several months before he graduated.

I went to trade school and have a high paying skill I could take on in a minute but I dont work in the trades.

I went to college after an enlistment in the mil.

I went to college in an uber liberal city yet I went before professors were fully vested in indoctrination.

I was a history major/minor in management.

No I am not an educator. I just like history and my motivation ensured high grades.

I was heavy on political philosophy in my electives. Post twenty years old I finally learned the different philosophies of the religions ( I realized though raised a Catholic I am mentally a Protestant), I learned about John Locke and Robert Malthus, Jeremy Bentham, what is a conservative vs a liberal, who did the FF draw from to refine their ideas. The history credits chosen were mil oriented and I became acquainted with totalitarianism - all good factual stuff but.........

The most important thing college provided was an understanding of how to research to get answers/facts for your position and how to write a paper to express and defend your ideas.

Your idea was not the most important thing it was could you express it and defend it.

Find that in any college today......

Only overtly biased professor I had taught "History of the Vietnam War".

First day in class he regaled us with his fond memories protesting the war in Boston.

He always wore the same black jeans and frequently the same button flannel shirt.

Our first assignment was to read a paper from S. Vietnam historian/writer Hoang Van Chi with his thoughts on why the war was just and the south was right to resist the north.

I agreed with Chi and used examples such as the massacres at Hue, village assassinations and the reeducation after the fall to support Chi's opinions.

He gave me the worst paper grade up to that point ( a B) and told me I would have to pay more attention in class basically and incorporate his ideas to get better grades.

Looks like dude is still indoctrinating 25 years on.....

I went to college in the 1980s when Reagan was President before I entered the military, had a double major and there were some left over Vietnam War protester professor a@@holes who tried hard to wreck your grades, however I used to win those battles regularly because at that time quite a few of the upper admin and the dean were still from the older generation. Got to the point where they were just as afraid of me as most of us students were of them. Still had some good profs however that taught me that they could never teach me everything but that that wasn't the point of college, the point was to be able to find the info you need, be able to analyze, evaluate, recognize what's true and works, and to be successful in applying that knowledge.
When I went back after 9/11 to get another degree a lot had changed. It was strict regurgitation even in my sciences classes but the worst was that they decided I had to take a sociology class run by a masked communist hag. She tried hard to flunk me but got caught because she had written down some of her thoughts on how she was to grade me, and why on the back of my final, she ended up having to apologize in front of the dean, and I passed. As an alumni I've been watching the goings on at that college and I can honestly say they will never see one red cent from me to support their current indoctrination and re-education camp.

Only overtly biased professor I had taught "History of the Vietnam War".

First day in class he regaled us with his fond memories protesting the war in Boston.

He always wore the same black jeans and frequently the same button flannel shirt.

Our first assignment was to read a paper from S. Vietnam historian/writer Hoang Van Chi with his thoughts on why the war was just and the south was right to resist the north.

I agreed with Chi and used examples such as the massacres at Hue, village assassinations and the reeducation after the fall to support Chi's opinions.

He gave me the worst paper grade up to that point ( a B) and told me I would have to pay more attention in class basically and incorporate his ideas to get better grades.

Looks like dude is still indoctrinating 25 years on.....
