I'm sure someone will call me a dick for pointing this out but this was posted literally a page or two back....c'mon man

Love how Brandon is removing tariffs right now to ensure that doesnt happen.

Cue the retards that will cry "Free Trade!" dismissing the fact no other country seems to deal with self imposed crippling the likes of OSHA, EPA, Congress......if a regulation pertains to domestic manufacture we should ban goods that dont comply with our standard......say goodby to Wal-Mart....I wont miss it.
I am in manufacturing have been for many years . The union always tells membership to vote democrat . Most of our plant workers are not D's
anymore . The union told us that Trump was causing members to lose jobs .
That was a lie and we actually hired a bunch of people for 1st time since before Obama .
Trump was the 1st president who actually took real steps to bring manufacturing back to the U.S. I have heard lots of politicians spout off about bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. and then after the election do jack and shit to make that happen .
Fair trade . Not free trade !
Making things in your own country gives you economic strength and national strength and independence .
The political class cares nothing for these things . Nor do they care about our country or our personal well being or our rights and freedoms !

71 percent of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction
What's more, the survey finds that 7 in 10 adults, including almost half of Democrats, believe the nation is headed in the wrong direction, as well as nearly 60 percent who view Biden's stewardship of the economy negatively just nine months into his presidency.
Poll from NBC! 54% disapprove of Illegitimate Biden

No, maybe you should state facts. I had Covid, and other people I know (about 6 people) had Covid and we all lived through it. Some had it worse than others but no one died.
No offense but I’ve no reason to believe this dude any less than I do you. I imagine you are both telling the truth.

I had a coworkers step-dad die with it. Modestly overweight, hypertension, no other history. Took a long time but he just kept getting sicker and sicker. My wife’s aunt and uncle got it. Both recovered, both obese, one diabetic, the other on immunosuppressants for all kinds of arthritis issues. What’s weird is she seems less hardy, but did much better than he did, which I contribute to the anti inflammatory drugs in her system at baseline.

I work in surgery and have had to care for several Covid patients. I was on an intubation team the first go round. I had no interest in the jab the first time. I believe nothing I hear from the NIH, CDC, media, etc, too much conflicting information and outright shenanigans. The medical literature is wishy washy on what works and doesn’t. We’ve been giving remdisavir for a year and spent billions I imagine when it turns out it doesn’t help and can in fact harm your kidneys. I’ve got several buddies (physicians) who work critical care (ICU) who swear up and down it makes no difference WHAT you do. You’re can either die like a dog or be asymptomatic, or somewhere in between, regardless of what you do.

When delta hit, we had many more icu admits and inpatients with it. Many more young-ish folks. The only common thread was obesity, but there were a few obese people in there too. I think you didn’t hear about it in the media due to who was in the White House. It was much worse than the first wave at our hospital. Peak admit/ICU numbers WAY higher. There was a big fuss about everyone doing poorly being un-vaccinated. I looked at the unit censuses and there were folks from most ages above 30, one 28, all intubated, all doing poorly. I broke over and took the J&J because I thought it would decrease the chances of me bringing it home on my wife (not true sadly). This was just before the studies came out showing vax had no real impact on transmissibility.

I didn’t take it until I could see with my own eyes guys about my age and as fat as I am dying. Nonetheless, if I could go back, I wouldn’t have taken it. I panicked and made a decision out of fear. Bad move. I did go into a-fib the day after I took it (a long-standing but infrequent problem of mine), but converted back to sinus rhythm within an hour or so. I haven’t had any other problems yet, but I figure I’m a dead man walking lol. The only positive I can see is that I can argue against a mandate from the point of view of a person who has actually taken it.

Back on topic, I didn’t really see what old dude asked that deserved the verbal thrashing he took, but perhaps I missed something.

No offense, but if you can't figure out, people who claim only un-vaccinated people are catching COVID are full of shit. I don't know what too say. The reason to believe one person over the other, would be that one persons story could actually be true. Where as a person who claims only un-vaccinated people are catching COVID, lives in fantasy land, or is a paid agitator. He was also called out on his bullshit by someone who lives in the area he claimed it is happening in. Did you skip that part?

You might want to run back through this thread, and see where they have admitted intubating people was bad, and not done for the health of person they intubated. As was predicted, argued, and rehashed, ventilators were a bad idea from day one, and were never meant to help the patient.

As your co-workers step dad got "sicker and sicker" what did you as a member of the medical community do to reverse that trajectory?

Nothing, Because you followed your directives and by the time anyone did anything he was so weak or far gone and the inevitable was an isolated death with a bunch of people looking over him like vultures thinking how this would generate some serious hospital income.

How about prehospitalization therapy?

We all are. Fearing death is for the weak, because we WILL die. The only thing we don't know is when or how.

What truly helps is when you HAVE DIED... in my case I was brought back...

Seconds and inches away.

Poof - with that went 95% of the fear. The only fear that remains is not want it to be excruciating. Beofre it comes to that --if I'm able I'll help the process along :)

Really? How is she at plastic surgery and treating multiple cuts and severe contusions?

I say, even though she's a democrat, she's at least not a pawn (so far). If she was smart she'd change parties to at least independent. Imagine if conservatives took this approach. We'd all be terrorists and rounded up and gassed. Wait...that's already happening in some parts of the word minus the gassing (for now).

For now, she's got more balls than that jackass LINDSAY.

Can you quote where I said only non vaccinated people were catching Covid? If you can’t, perhaps you might want to run back through my one post. I’ve followed this thread religiously from the get go and have read the posts and attached articles you mentioned.

What I said was the line at my hospital was unvaccinated patients made up the majority of admitted and critically ill patients. The official quote was something like “99 patients admitted, 98 unvaccinated.” We don’t admit positives who are asymptomatic or mildly ill.

Is it possible those numbers were manipulated? Sure. We have more than our share of vaccine zealots and crusaders, but I just don’t see in toto a cabal of doctors, nurses, and administrators fabricating that trend. Nurses don’t get paid to lie about somebody’s vaccine status. Many many nurses at my hospital vehemently oppose a vaccine mandate. Why would they perpetuate a lie like that?

I believe the gist of what old dude said was the vaccine provided some degree of protection against severe disease. I’ll defend nothing he said other than that. He asked and I’ll ask you for any data that says vaccinated people are more likely to die from Covid than unvaxxed. I’ve looked for it and can’t find it. Unless the whole antibody dependent enhancement thing is real for this vaccine, you’re not likely to see higher “Covid deaths” in the vaxxed. That doesn’t mean it isn’t harmful. If you died from a vaccine induced stroke instead of Covid, you’re still dead. In my mind, that’s worse than a non effective but non harmful vaccine.

I wrote a critical care doctor here up for the vile stuff he was posting about unvaccinated people. He and a cardiologist at my hospital should be fired IMO. They’ve got no business taking care of people, period. I am not a fed and I’m no vaccine advocate.

As far as intubating patients, that was our protocol early on in the OR for any aerosolizing procedure. I can’t speak for the ICU. We did do it for provider safety, but you have to realize, early on, a known exposure to Covid was a 14 day quarantine. Any upper respiratory symptoms were a 14 day quarantine. They were touting a 10% mortality figure at the time. If your entire medical staff is out on quarantine, you can’t run a hospital, and who cares for the patients then? There was, at the time, no data indicating that intubation was harmful. But even if so, at least for a procedure that blows virus all over the place (think upper GI scope), would you really not considering the safety of the people in the room? It’s not that simple.

WITH it, or FROM it? Words mean things. I saw a multiple fatality car wreck where several people died 'with' COVID.

Look at the stats. The CDC admitted at least once during this BS that only 6% of their COVID deaths were 'from' COVID. The other 94% were 'with' COVID.
This.
There was a car wreck, in Tennessee, where a man flipped his car and hit a guardrail. The rail entered the cabin and decapitated him, except for a two inch piece of skin. When the ME report came back, cause of death was blunt force trauma/covid.
Even if you go by the vastly inflated "official" numbers, covid still has a survial rate of over 99%.

The same folks who are having bleeding hemorrhoids over covid are the same folks who just knew the arctic would be melted by now. Folks who are so terrified of dying, they never really live.

I heard a story from a friend that their BIL's Father had pancreatic cancer. He was in the late stages when he went to the hospital. When he got there he ended up catching COVID there. He died from the cancer. However, they were told that if they put down he died from COVID they would not have to pay the $40,000 hospital bill as the .gov would cover COVID cases. So, they went that route since they didn't have the money to pay the bill.

No doubt.
I love calling out leftys on their BS, and hearing the subsequent silence.
You assume I'm a lefty, because I don't blindly agree with what's posted here. I'm called a lefty, faggot, and any other insult you can hurl at me. The truth is I don't blindly believe anything that's fed to me, unlike some here. Just randomly exploring some of the supposed 'news' and 'documentation' posted here, not only have there been misrepresentations of data published, but I've found more than than a few complete fabrications. My fav is the story about racism from the news site that doesn't actually exist, closely followed by the digital drivers license blurb. This would be the one that everyone went apeshit over because it included vaccine status, despite the back end systems not existing to link all of that info. Couldn't do it if they wanted. In any case, no one seemed worried about the app supposedly including your social credit score. Spoiler, you don't have one, but they're used in China to track how well people obey the State.

Anyway, I'm guessing you wanted me to beat that unbelievable list of Democratic elected officials who'd done harm to women or children. The list that included Harvey Weinstein. What district did he represent again? See below for parts 1-4 of Republican slime balls. There are 16 total parts, btw.
  1. Donald Trump is accused of sexual assault by multiple women. His wife said he raped her before she decided to describe it differently He is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl and walking in on teens in the Miss Teen USA pageant. He bragged of walking in on naked women at pageants and of course, of grabbing women “by the pussy.”

No dude, guy died of it. Got steroids, got convalescent plasma, got remdisavir, still died after a long and miserable course.
