House Republicans will pass Ukraine aid after backing down on border demand
GOP had previously demanded Congress address US-Mexico border crossings before passing further foreign aidwww.independent.co.uk
"House Republican leadership appears to be officially backing down from their demand for lawmakers to address border security before any further aid was passed to support Ukraine in its war against a Russian invasion.
The news was made on Thursday at the House Republican retreat, with Speaker Mike Johnson telling reporters that bills to further fund both Ukraine’s defence and Israel’s military effort against Hamas would be brought up separately in the coming weeks. There was no indication that Republicans would continue baulking at the idea of passing either of them without first striking some kind of deal on immigration reform or border security that could pass both chambers of Congress."
Or they could head west into the ocean.point them south to Mexico

The FBI, Department of Homeland Security and National Counterterrorism Center shared an intelligence report with banks in the days after the riot that warned Americans who "expressed opposition to firearm regulations, open borders, COVID-19 lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and the 'deep state'" may qualify as "domestic violent extremists," the staff report said.
I can’t argue with using Dawn as a door seal lube. The Federal Aviation Administration auditors saw mechanics for a Boeing supplier using liquid Dawn soap as a lubricant for fitting a door seal, The New York Times reported.
The regulator then observed mechanics at Spirit AeroSystems, which builds the fuselage of Boeing's 737 Max, cleaning up using a wet cheesecloth, per The Times' Mark Walker.
These findings were part of a six-week audit documented in a set of FAA presentation slides upon which The Times based its report.
The slides said that Boeing had failed 33 of 89 product audits related to 737 Max production, while Spirit failed seven of 13 audits, per The Times.

They are so old and aged they want to see their life’s work began in the 60s (even earlier perhaps) come to fruition before they dirt nap.I’ve said for a while that as a last resort “someone” will kill Trump before they let him back in office, and I still believe that. I don’t look at the stock market or politics or AI or culture on a micro level, I look at it from a macro level. An example is my investment portfolio, I manage it myself and I may move things around once every couple years and I seem to have decent results with that approach ( 18% annualized rate for the last 15 years). I’ve always been a person kinda in the middle of the spectrum maybe more on the libertarian side and the older I get definitely more libertarian. I use to think that our government functioned kinda half ass but it was better than the rest of the world so we always come out on top most of the time and for the most part it was looking out for the county and the people in it.
I have really started to see in the last 10 years a major shift in everything like technology, politics, finance, health, education, societal, food supply and so on and it is really concerning to me and it seems to grow exponentially.
I don’t know (but have a good idea) who is pulling the worlds strings but I think they are at a fork in the road and as someone great once said when you get to the fork take it. I think on one side is the old way of doing business and that’s lying low in the shadows behind the scenes playing the covert role but now I think they have gained so much power and knowledge and thats made them drunk and impatient. They think there will be no repercussions for their actions whatever they do and now the other fork of being overt is what they will choose. I think the decision has been made to pull out all the stops and go for it. If that’s pressuring some congressmen to vote a certain way or maybe resining because they were presented a folder with all their dirty secrets in it or creating chaos among citizens or driving someone to “suicide”, I think the rules are no longer a hindrance to them. They are focused on the end and it’s by ANY means necessary. I’m a nobody to them but I’m afraid by writing something like this I’m shining a light on myself and sooner or later someone will notice. I think our darkest days are ahead of us but I also think in the end the real American patriots will prevail but not without great loss.
From now on I’m turning my light out and setting myself up for success the best I can for the troubled times ahead.
Thanks for sharing Grant, we have now focused our resources on you. Expect to see unmarked cars in your rearview mirror moving forward. We've been waiting for you to post this, as you have mostly been playing in the shadows......gotcha now bitch!!!!I’ve said for a while that as a last resort “someone” will kill Trump before they let him back in office, and I still believe that. With Rollins, after an investigation found that she lied to investigators, the DOJ refused to file any charges at all. It is unclear what the DOJ felt was lacking in those findings or the underlying evidence. However, as shown by prior declinations — in cases like the contempt referral against former Attorney General Eric Holder, or the determination that former FBI Director James Comey removed FBI material and, through a friend, leaked it to the media — the Justice Department often seems to find insurmountable problems when asked to charge a fellow prosecutor or investigator
The Rollins case showed a sense of total license to ignore criminal and ethical rules. She even was accused of giving Arroyo advice on how to handle the sexual assault allegations brought against him during his campaign and also provided media outlets with “negative information” about his challenger, Kevin Hayden. She was overtly political and used her office to advance favored candidates.
