How's the USS Harry Truman lately?
Yes and she continued her career as a captain for a Delta airship.scratched but still with positive bouyancy.

I do believe that being on top of the water is quite a big deal with ships - Mz. Gray must have slept through that lecture.scratched but still with positive bouyancy.

The ships will be hanging around ready for the international war games Talisman Sabre coming up soon. The Chinese traditionally park several spy ships just outside the Australian waters recording every radio and radar/sonar transmission.![]()
Chinese warships make 'unusual' voyage near US ally Australia
As Chinese military ships voyage near Australia, Australian Minister for Defense Richard Marles described it as an "unusual event," and said that the country is surveilling the foreign ships.www.foxnews.com
interesting...
Yeah I agree.Back at ya - all the Yanks I've met have been good folks. All except for that Kalashnikev guy.
He's just a cunt.
I think we are finding out that with proper oversight that might not be the case. I don't care if kids get fed at all. I don't think taxes should be for that at all. If we are in the spirit of trimming, then this can be one of the thingsI agree that parents should foot the bill for food, but there are a lot of broke parents who can’t, and they can’t just not send their kids to school.
The money will be taken from you, regardless of how you feel. I wish that wasn’t the case and that taxes were lowered accordingly for those without children.
I’d rather tax money go to feed kids a healthy meal so that they can focus on their education. I do not want the money to go to administrators, sportsball, electric school buses, or DEI/gay/gender ideology.
Hopefully Trump’s changes will lead to much better education, which will lead to a more educated society. A win for all. If quality change does happen then I would happily fund free school lunch for the local elementary and middle schools. The funny part there is that nobody will get lowered taxes, lol.

Aint that the truth... The fkn sportsball crap is completely crazy. Schools in my AO are adding astroturff (wtf its called) instead of just ya know dirt and grass. Its full retard on sports ball, hell at least 1 ISD here has a damn charter buss for hauling them around. What might not be the case?
I believe kids should be fed if they’re forced to be there for 8 hours. Ideally their parents would send them with a lunch or lunch money, but there are a lot of broke parents that can’t afford the $80 per month for 1 kid for school breakfast and lunch.
I believe the taxes collected for public schools would be better spent on feeding the kids so they can focus on their education.
Funny thing is if I did fund free lunch for elementary-middle school students, it would cost roughly 1.2-1.7 million dollhairs under current food standards, and it wouldn’t lower anyone’s taxes a penny. You’d just see a new sportsball stadium or brand new sportsball equipment. Trades, ELA, math, science, and arts would still be bottom tier on funding.
Our education system’s priorities are a damn dumpster fire.
They tried to build an indoor training facility here. Just for football. The citizens voted it down but hey were hitting every parents cell phone every day pushing them to vote for it. Pissed a lot off AND reminded them to vote no. The town split between the 20% that wanted it and the other 80% that were sick of ever increasing school and property taxes. The level of emotional distress was crazy for those that lost. Two weeks after the superintendent resigned. Facebook was not kind. People are tired of being used as an ATM for stupid projects that serve no real purpose.Aint that the truth... The fkn sportsball crap is completely crazy. You aren’t wrong on the fixation with athletics. Friday night lights is no joke. My county sits at a 22% poverty rate roughly. The football stadium has new artificial turf, and there is a $5 million indoor practice facility with 50 yards of a field that also has artificial turf. Every kid in the school system gets free breakfast and lunch. There are a few kids each year that get free rides to college for sports, but no substantial number. I will say that the school has invested pretty heavily into the trades. This is probably because they know many of the kids will not go to college. There are tracks through high school that focus on welding certifications, automotive repair, construction and carpentry, and some other useful skills. Those kids are walking out of the school and straight to jobs. What might not be the case?

I don’t know...you wouldn't KASH me ahhhside on a day like today. No pizza party today at the shop but our afternoon returning trucks brought donuts. And I picked up some Wendy's Frosties on my way back. Let me KASH somebody saying that "it's too cold for Frosties"...![]()
Money will be taken from us no matter what was the statement I was referring to. I agree it is that way, but it may be changing and certainly doesn't have to be that way. I do think we could have lunches provided, but the diet is something we could argue over forever. What might not be the case?

What happened to the days of a school bus with no A/C in it; travelling around in 90+ deg temps to your track meet, Football, baseball, tennis, event?Aint that the truth...
