Win M70, 30.06, Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x40 CDS, trigger to 3#, action trued & bedded, barrel floated. 150 grain Barnes Triple Shock shoots sub 1/2 inch at 100 yds.

I would be interested too. I have several boxes of Sierra 120's, Berger 115's and a box of Barnes 85 grain TTSX. I developed a tack driving load for the 85TTSX and haven't experimented with the others. I plan on trying out the 120's next spring.

Keep in mind my rig has the 22" tube which may not shine with the AI capacity. Load developement will tell.

180 yard shot, he was silhouetted against the treeline & it was in low light (the last 10 minutes of legal hunting hours). We didn't see the nubs with the binos so I took the shot. I'd have bagged his little girlfriend if I'd have known.

Definitely the Hill Country. The Whitetail was taken west of Kerrville, the Axis in Comfort.

haha nice

im from houston but we got a place outside lampasas. kinda northern edge of hill country. we definitely dont have axis though.
