Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Yes, initially, Mike had asked for the action. I asked if I sent him the tenon print if he could make the barrel from that, and of course, being a machinist, his reply was, “absolutely!” But to time the the engraving to the side of the gun, he’d need the action or one of my old barrels. Originally I was going to send him a barrel, but eventually I told my OCD to get fucked, and told him to just engrave it anywhere. I’ll live with it.

Perfect that’s good to know, I don’t over care about the engraving either. I have a 223 prefit for a tl3 that is under the bell of the scope and my ks em precision 25 creed engraving is covered by the krg enclosed forend. I’ll definitely be ordering some prefits then!

Oh, yeah. Anything to cut that Curtis fanboi out of the loop. KS on the other hand are phenomenal to deal with.

Added this to the heard last year, just got it scoped today and shot it for the first time. Bore sighted, and instantly on paper @ 200 yards.

Sako TRG M10, 300 Win Mag 190 grain Federal Gold Medal Match. Sweet rifle, added the Sako brake and I could stay on target 100% after each shot.

Ended up getting a bunch of barrels from Beretta during their 40% off sales, 338 LM, 300 WM, 308 and 6.5. Extra bolts too!

My latest rifle is in, and I hope to shoot it tomorrow. I ordered a barreled action from Caleb at Alpha and Omega and my God it impressed me. I can't recommend him enough... my 9yr daughter wants to use this one for her black bear this year now.... even she is smitten with it. The Rex Silentium can matches so well..
How do you like the Rex can?

My beginnings in Precision Shooting.

TC LRR in 6.5 Creedmoor
US Optics TS20X
Spuhr Ideal Mount
Atlas PRS Bipod w/Defy lever
MDT Vertical Grip
APW Muzzle Break

I plan to build another rifle later this summer and transfer most of the parts over using the MDT ACC chassis. Just not sure what caliber yet, might stay with 6.5cm since it’s so much fun.

Just a Tikka Tac A1. Nightforce 20MOA Unimount and a Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25 for now. I'd like to upgrade the glass later, but it shoots very well for a factory rifle with factory ammo so I'm not in a hurry to swap it out. Atlas V8 Bipod. Completely factory rifle. It really likes the Sig 175's but so far its shot everything nearly as well as those, but they get the edge.

Nice. I’m going to have DST do mine. I can’t wait. Other than some color stuff yours is pretty much what Im about to build. How do you like the Zeus?
I have not shot this one yet... I have done some dry fire practice with it though. Hope to do load development soon. I will be shooting my 6.5 Creed tomorrow, to finish up its load development. I have a problem with having rifles built. I have another already in the works...

Here is my latest addition to my collection .

Barrett 98B Tactical .308 with 16" barrel
Scope : Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 F1

Took it out for the first time today and it shoots great. Very soft shooting . Ergonomically , it fits me very well and has an exceptional trigger . The bolt lift is stiffer than my AI AW, but I am guessing it will get easier in a short time . It also weighs significantly less than my AIAW. The magazine is arguably better than the AIAW, I really think Barrett magazine is near the top of its class.

I replaced the stock Barrett muzzle brake with a Silencerco ASR muzzle brake as I will be running this rifle with a Silencerco Saker 7.62 ASR.

I traded a Colt/ Cooper M2012 for this rifle an I have no remorse whatsoever except that Euro Optic recently blew out some MRADs at heavy discount and I might have preferred an MRAD.

Beautiful weapon. Long been a fan of 16-18" barrels
