With a pair of the competition side rails on it but no extra weights it came to just under 19lbs.Whats the total weight on that build?

question, what is the purpose for that tape on the scope, I have seen it on a bunch of rifles, but never known the purpose of it.So, here is my Daughter's rifle I finished putting together. It is put together with some leftover parts I had from when I was shooting RH guns lefthanded, and a barreled action chambersmed by Dane Miller in Las Vegas. Also It really likes the load I shoot out of my LF gun. View attachment 8111206View attachment 8111208
It is there to help minimize dings in the scope bell when shooting from props and barricades.question, what is the purpose for that tape on the scope, I have seen it on a bunch of rifles, but never known the purpose of it.
When taken of will it leave any residue on the scope? It is there to help minimize dings in the scope bell when shooting from props and barricades.
No. There's no adhesive. It clings to itself. When taken of will it leave any residue on the scope?
It's called vet tape or vet wrap. What tape is that , so I can get some . It is a brilliant idea
Where are those available another good way of protection
How does the KRG handle the Rem Mag? Building a 300 PRC and considering one of their stocks
Bordem + extra money resulted in me rebuilding my Ruger American in 6.5 CM. The only thing that remains from the RA is the receiver and bolt body.
I've replaced the Ruger Precision buttstock with an MDT SRS Short.

- Area 419 Hellfire brake
- Timney Trigger

- Arken 20 MOA Cantilever Scope Mount
- Arken Flip-up Scope Covers
- Arken Throw Lever
- Arken EP5 5x25-56 FFP MIL Scope
I needed to put the Ruger Precision buttstock back on my RPR because the Magpul PRS Gen 3 wasn't designed for normal humans, the LOP adjustment to go longer seems like it was designed for people with really long arms.
Also need to make a trip out to 360 Precision in PA soon so they can flute my bolt and barrel, possibly some cerokote for the barrel but I haven't decided on that yet.
New pictures to come.

How’s it choot? And what mags are you running?
I’m doing the exact same thing - same caliber and chassis even - just need to upgrade the factory barrel. I’ve tried using an MDT 12rd mags and it was getting hung up. The factory Ruger AICS 3rd mag works and so does a 10rd Accurate mag but wondering what you’re using as it looks polymer. Ruger or Magpul?
Haven't been able to get her out to the range yet, but I use Magpul AICS mags.
Had to send my rifle in so Mark could make the barrel so he installed it at the same time.Thanks. Who installed the barrel? Did you do it yourself or send it to Precision Firearms?

Thank you sir. It’s my whitetail and “off season” varmit rifle cause it does some damage. Currently running Nosler 110g ballistic tips at 2950fps. Pretty amazing what that 6mmBR case can do!Barrel length? What kind of bullet and velocity are you running with that rig? Looks bad ass.
Happy shooting.
New video is up with my new 16" MPR .308 Win with the Dead Air Nomad-LT...
How do you like the Christensen action? I've seen questionable reviews but yours looks pretty smooth
Thank you! The larger weight bolt knob does make a lot of sense, I have a Defiance anTi and it's smooth but the small bolt knob is less than ideal. I'm wanting to try a Christensen barreled action and maybe down the road an MPR. Thanks again!@christiant94 All 5 off my CA rifles have smooth actions. Are they butter-smooth like a solid-steel full-weight jeweled bolt 700 that’s been lapped and blueprinted? Not quite, because they’re lightweight actions, and the lug & raceway tolerances are noticeably tighter than my factory 700’s (minimal bolt slop). But brand new out of the box they are as smooth as any of my factory 700’s have been, and they are working-in and getting even smoother every range session (25-50 rounds per session).
I will give you one piece of advice, if you do get a CA rifle… If it doesn’t come with the larger Tactical Bolt Knob from the factory, put one on it. The lightweight bolts don’t have as much mass as a full-weight bolt, and the extra leverage and weight of the tactical bolt knob, really helps with running, opening, and cocking the action smoothly. I swapped to the Tactical bolt knobs on my Ranger 22 and my Ridgeline .280 Ackley. Both of them came with the standard small knob, and I have big hands, so it was not comfortable for me. Once I installed the larger Tactical knobs on there, it was night & day better.
Check and see if the Catalyst Arms Hammerhead bolt knob will fit your needs.Thank you!
