SEEKINS Havak HIT pro in 6.5CM, NF ATACR 7-35 in an ATC M-brace and using an ACCU-TAC PC-4. Working my way through some factory loads. It seems to like the Winchester Match 140 bthp okay but wasn’t happy with Federal Gold Medal 140 matchkings.

Thanks! The blue is FX Liberty clear (sprayed uneven for fade effect) over Graphite Black. The grey/silver is tungsten with some slight Titanium fades. And of course the black in the stock is Manners Carbon fiber; I just cannot cover it all so I work it into the pattern.Love that Cerakote!!

You can have a suppressor in Ireland ?She is a 2003 Landrover Defender 130 TD5 engine (5 cyl 2.5 l direct injection.) 5 speed manual & low box. No EGR, no DPF, no ABS, not much electronics. You get spares for every single part of the vehicle. I sprayed the roof Duracoat Tac Black.

Yesterday in the Kerry hills letting some visitors take a few shots with my 308 out to 600m.
I fired two rounds at a rock at 1200m with the new stock on my light weight 6.5 CM 20" barrel, both rounds hit. Wind dialled for 7mph. Furthest I ever shot that rifle.

Not 100% sure about Ireland specifically, but it's pretty much only USA that have strict regulations for suppressors. You can have a suppressor in Ireland ?
Canada is even more strict than the USA when it comes to suppressorsNot 100% sure about Ireland specifically, but it's pretty much only USA that have strict regulations for suppressors.
It's considered basic health and safety gear in most of Europe.
Yeah, but your country is run by actual clowns.Canada is even more strict than the USA when it comes to suppressors
Can't disagree with thatYeah, but your country is run by actual clowns.
Yes we can, as a firearms dealer I can also build my own and have done so in the past. I have a feeling our suppressor are somewhat cheaper than in the US. Not often one comes across a hunter without suppressor in the meantime in Ireland. One does need to provide a reason for using one, something like shooting foxes in a horse field etc.You can have a suppressor in Ireland ?
The old 8x57 load that the krauts used in WW2 was stable out to 2500yd...My "stable" of bolt action precision rifles.
308, 6.5 creedmoor, and an 8mm mauser, not quite a long range precision, but nice to shoot.

Oh, no doubt it will handle distance. The old 8x57 load that the krauts used in WW2 was stable out to 2500yd...
I have to imagine if Ferrari built a rifle - the result would be the TRG M10...PRECISION FIRST.

If Ferrari built a rifle it would have two hard tires and two used softs that just came off it’s teammate.I have to imagine if Ferrari built a rifle - the result would be the TRG M10...
Thanks. Those were from initial load development. Believe it or not, that barrel needed zero break-in. That's shots number 9-12, and 13-16 ever down the bore...4 shots to zero the scope, and 4 shots from the first group, then those 2 groups. The only mods I've done to the rifle before shooting it were threading the barrel, threading the bolt handle, swapping in a TriggerTech Primary and tuning it down to 1.5 lbs. and retorquing the action screws to 65 in-lbs. Other than that, that rifle is brand new and 100% factory action, barrel, and stock.Really nice groupings !
Nice truck! My 300wm Remmy went on a diet, had a proof carbon barrel fitted. Zero and chrono yesterday. I will run her like this for a while until the barrel has a few more shots through. Wind was 10-11 o'clock and rocking the bench so the Landy was stationed close as a wind breaker.

Nice rifle
What weight bullet are you planning on using.
I feel that you are missing out on the double benefits of arca that you could have by not using an arca-to-arca between the arca on your other arca there. My most recent completed project - https://www.ocabj.net/precision-rifle-project-series-defiance-machine-anti-lightweight-rifle-build/
Goal was a (relatively) lightweight rifle that is precise that can handle sustained strings of fire (compared to an off-the-shelf pencil barrelled rifle).
- Defiance Machine anTI short action, .480" bolt face, nitride finish, Guardian cut
- Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped barrel, 22" length, 1:8" twist, 6.5mm Creedmoor Defiance Pre-Fit
- TriggerTech Special 2-Stage Pro Curve
- MDT HNT26 chassis, Cobalt Green, Arca rail, non-folding
- Area 419 Hellfire Match muzzle brake
- Defiance Machine 20 MOA aluminum scope base
- Spuhr SP-5001 35mm diameter, 30mm / 1.18" tall mount
- Leupold Mark 5HD 3.6-18x44mm TREMOR3
- RRS SOAR 240mm Universal Arca rail
6 lb 3 oz - rifle only
8 lb 6 oz - rifle with optic
8 lb 11 oz - rifle with optic + RRS arca rail (read the article on why I added this)
11 lb - fully configured rifle with MDT CKYE-POD triple pull
Berger 144 LRHT + 42.2 GR H4350 + Alpha Munitions SRP + CCI BR4 ~ 2695 fps give or take depending on temps.
