260 Remington

Is that a PGW break, or an aftermarket? BTW Nice gun!

Do you prefer the AICS or the W3C?? I can't decide which one I want for my 700P in .308

I haven't shot it yet. I've been making few adjustments with the W3C (adjustments I didn't have with the AICS 1.5) to fit me, and doing a hell lot of dry firing. So far, I am loving the sh*t out of the W3C! I'm getting it cerakoted.. the stock finish seems really easy to get scratched up especially on the hand guard area. Unlike the AICS skins... the AICS skins can take a beating and are replaceable. There are pros and cons for both of'em.. for me, I just have A.D.D., lmao!

My newest endeavor. Rem 700 w 26" bbl. HS precision stock and BDM w 10 rd mag. The Harris bipod is now a Atlas. Leupold Mark 4 4-16X40 with 15 Moa base and rings. AI scope level indicator and tubb 2000 firing pin. Also a Timney trigger cuz the factory on sucked and wasnt worth a second pull. Taking her to the range Sunday.

Lol ya I know what you mean. I've been stuck between the aics and the w3c for a while now. I love the look of both and they both have the features I'm looking for. Plus they each have multiple accessories that can be purchased after if necessary. Thanks for the info! Much appreciated :)

Brux 1:10 MTU 24" with AAC 51t brake from 76.2-SD Suppressor
McRees Gen4 Chassis
AD-Recon-Low QD rings
Bushnell 3.5-21x50 HDMR H58 (original from Horus)
Harris Bi-Pod
Timney 517 Trigger 1.5#

All work and paint done by Deadly Precision Gunsmithing.

Upgraded my hunting rig. It used to sit in a HTG. Just got this new stock in today.

6.5-284
Stiller Predator LA
Jewell
PTG bottom metal
ABS wrapped Rock liner
McMillan Adj. Tactical Hunter in McMillan 5 color camo
Zeiss Diavari 6-24x56

This new stock feels much better than the old. I can get a much better cheek weld. The beefier front end also feels great. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

The stock weighs 2.6 lbs, exactly the same weight as my old HTG with sniper fill. The whole rig, minus the bi-pod weighs exactly 11.0 lbs unloaded. 11.6 with the bi-pod.

In all of my sporting and working rifles and shotguns I have always prided myself on buying the best. It often requires sacrifice in other areas but where my weapons are concerned there's right and...other.

However, I must say that I am quite stunned by the dedication to perfection and care with which the rigs shown in this thread are put together. When I joined Frank told me that the bar was high at SH and now I really see what he meant. Beautiful systems gentlemen and if you shoot as good as your equipment would suggest, nobody or nothing is safe within a mile of you guys.

In all, a challenging standard to meet.

Best,
Viper1

Here is a project that I am just finishing up.

It started out as a Savage Model 16 FHSS in .243

I bought the stock from a FCP-K off of ebay, then I modified it some by changing the grip angle, adding texture with Marine Tex, adding flush cups, and a Karsten cheek rest.
The gun originally had a hinged floorplate magazine, so I ordered the stock Savage bottom metal for the DBM. I also purchased a couple 10 round magazines from Darkeagle Customs.
The stock bolt knob is replaced by the Savage tactical version.
Painted with Duracoat in GAP Camo using a Bulldog Arms stencil kit - the colors are Marsh, ACU Grey Green, and Desert Brown

Bolt fluting by Sharp Shooter Supply
24" Stainless Criterion barrel in 22-250 with 1-9" twist - Light Varmint Contour
TPS 0 MOA base
Duracoated in Tactical Black

Most of the parts were ordered through Jim at Northland Shooter Supply; a really great guy to work with.

Now I am just waiting on the optics, which will be a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 SFP MOA

I like these colors...Now I wish I lived somewhere with snow and blue things to hide in.

This is nothing fancy compared to the trick equipment I'm seeing here. I'm just getting into long range shooting and I didn't want to break the bank. I'm more then happy with the performance of my Savage/Bushnell combo so far. I've only been able to shoot to about 600 yards but it works like a champ. I can't wait to stretch out to the distances the .338LM is designed for. The target was @ 100 yards while zeroing the scope. 2 in the left corner and 3 in the middle. It's shooting dead nuts center now @ 100 and I have enough MOA to get out to about 1500 yards without having to hold off. I'm having a little trouble finding ammo at the moment but as soon as I get the components together to reload, I'm going to wear that barrel out.

SPR .260 Rem

SPR/bugholes-built barreled action, .260 Rem:
Stiller TAC30 A/W
Bartlein 1:8 M24 26"
Timney 517, ViperSkins (w/ XL grip), TBAC 30P-1 (went back to jail for a little while longer)

SPRTBACvsm.jpg

10 rounds on the 2nd outing, shot without the can, and from a wobbly bench. Still trying to find a good load, this one was a little fast (avg. 2860fps, 44gr H4350, 139 Scenars in Lapua brass). 9 of them went into a .663 moa hole.

440-H4350-L139-002off--sm.jpg

Considering the idiot behind the trigger, I'm really stoked!
