Ok guys so I just left the military base here. There were uniformed soldiers with masks and gloves on. I think they are ramping up so I got the fuck outta there. I avoided the insurgent cartel roadblock that popped up on the main road (I obviously don't have my SHTF 11.13" .410socom truck gun here) but I managed to seek shelter in an abandoned store. Armed with my Leatherman Charge and Surefire Fury, I scavenged for any supplies I could find. Jackpot. Sour Patch Kids. I then found a Nokia 3310 on the floor and hit play on the touchscreen (which is obviously an unlockable feature if you make it to level 100 on SNAKE). This is the video that was on it.... Funny, go to walmart and these people lost their fucking minds. EVERYTHING is gone. No milk, no rice, no tp. Shelves stripped of shit people NEVER buy on a normal day. What burns me is that walmart of all fucking places has a spot on inventory system designed to keep everyone in a region that shops there supplied --always. That is until fear buying starts.
LUCKILY I was able to go to the local grocery store, a much smaller and older spot, and they had milk. No tp though. Cholera and dysentary are the shitting diseases, don't know why these people stocked up on a years supply of asswipe. And the alcohol? Holy shit. Can't make my lube for you guys, totally sold out, even at price gouging prices.
Oughta be cheap though once all this shit gets back to normal.

As of yesterday, most (if not all) of the NavWar/SPAWAR personnel are being told to stay home and telework if possible. For those that don't know, this is the command for the acquisition of Navy Intel systems, and likely where some of this RUMINT came from.
So there is a small measure of truth in that Navy Intel (as well as Navy Medicine) are very concerned about all of what's going on, and the potential impact.
That being said, people need to calm down and just understand the intent of the teleworking directives; to insulate the government offices from any delays caused by quarantined or sick people. Stuff isn't going to shut down.
No need to sound the alarm, or start running around with their hair on fire, saying that the sky is about to fall...

The potus just got through with an update and to me sounded better squared away.

Truth be told, they are all following suit. None of them want to be "that person" who didnt take action, left their state vulnerable, costed lives, etc...oh, and...miss out on all that federal money about to be airlifted in.
