I have a stock 700P and am kinda strapped for cash.

My final rifle will look like this, I am just unsure where to spend money first, so that I can transfer and build slowly. I am thinking stock, but maybe you guys see something else. I will be using this rig to train as a I get money. I plan to use the stock barrel until it's life is over. Right now huge limiting factors in my training are the stock bolt knob, the builtin top loading 4 round magazine. I am thinking replacing the stock is the first thing needed, what do you think?

700P
26" Stock Barrel -> Bartlein 20" In the future
HS Precision -> McMillan A5 Marinetex? Devcon? What fill?
BDL Floorplate -> Badger M5
Stock Bolt -> Badger knob
Harris 6"-9" Notched, Swivle, Podloc -> Atlas w/ Arms Quick Lever

700SA Action -> True and polish/cerakote? If left untouched, will it lessen the life if some minor bur or something is in the lugs etc... that I am unaware of?

Re: Priority Upgrades

I shoot mine stock with a just a trigger job for a long time. Never really cared for the stock so I relaced it. The same time as the stock, I upgraded to DBM.

You can get alot of preformance out of a Stock pss. Shoot it for what it is, the accuracy will not hold you back! If you shooting comps with it, just practice single feeding it, you can get quite fast at it. The only draw back was carring loose rounds to the fring point.
