Quote notifications

I have gotten several quote notifications, but when I click on them it doesn't take me anywhere other than my post activity. I assume that the quote notification means someone quoted something I wrote, is that wrong? or am I not seeing where I am being quoted?

I have no idea I have to look it up, but it is annoying and I need to turn it off

Mine does the same. I also tried to read the rifle FAQ links and it just redirects me to the forum homepage.

redirects are because you are using a bad link. if the link has the old UBB address attached to it, you will be redirect to the home page.

cbm, I believe it means someone quoted a statement, or portion thereof, that you made. I got a notification and that's what it was. HTH

I'm having the same issue. While it's a little annoying receiving the email that I've been quoted, I would be able to live with that if I would get an email that notified me when a thread received a response, which I do not. Right now, I'm not getting a notification unless I've been quoted. I've checked my settings, but can't seem to figure out why this is happening. Still a glitch, or am I overlooking something? Feel free to quote me if you respond, Frank, so I know that you've read this and responded!

The Post Quote Notifications are pretty annoying. I couldn't find a way to unsubscribe myself

I'm finally getting reply notifications (not just quote notifications), so there's some progress being made!

Now, if I could just figure out this feedback system and why it does what it does (but that's a topic for another thread, I suppose). I'm sure things will get ironed out over time.

When I'm quoted....an email is sent to me.

In that email....it shows where you have been quoted.

But not in your activity.

Would be nice if an arrow or the thread your quoted in would be highlighted in your activity....that would be handy.
