I have a friend that is really into guns. We can talk about guns and cartridges for hours. He had a .45 acp given to him and I gave him a lot of ammo for it. He tried to find it some time later and it was gone. His wife hates guns. He thinks she threw it out with the ammo. He would like to be able to defend his family. How can this be solved?

Ouch! I had a friend who was deployed on military duty.
His wife (now ex-wife) took all his firearms to a gun-buy-back location and got rid of all of them.
There wasn't anything he could do about it except divorce her later, losing all of his retirement funds and part of his pension in the process.

I think most women are ruthless and have no sense of right or wrong when they feel like they have been done wrong. That includes wives, I haven’t been totally forthcoming in regards to rifle and pistol purchases because they use it against you when you get into arguments .

Yes, they will use anything against you. It doesn't have to be guns. It could be golf clubs, watching football on TV, fishing, boats, cars or model airplanes.
