Sounds like both of you need to get your shit together. Number 1, if you served your country in any branch of the military, wether you've seen combat or not, you are a veteran. Number 2, be proud of your heritage and your ancestors and their achievements. Number 3, who gives a shit if spelling or grammar is off as long as get the idea? Man up, both of you!

I received your PM but still don't understand why you don't understand the concept of someone having been in the military and now going to college.

Hell, there are even people in the military going to college.

but what if you can't understand the idea... and I don't really get the difficulty of typing the word "the" also don't really get the @ sign. and for the don't agree with posting PM's i'm pretty sure that same PM was posted in the original thread that started the flaming...and if it wasn't it was damn near close.

Now if this was a English Literature forum I would say OK, you need to formulate sentences. BUT, it is not such a forum. +1 This point is moot.

I was in the USMCR while I attended college (all 6 years). Our unit was also activated for Desert Storm during my 2nd year. When we were released from Active Duty, we were then classified veterans. And yes, I was still in college.
