I checked their website and found there was a recall for the Remington 700...
I guess they used some sort of adhesive or glue in the trigger system that goes bad and causes the gun to be fired without anyone pulling the trigger..
There are two options to remedy this..
1. Find a local Remington authorized repair shop where they will replace the trigger free of charge
2. Mail your rifle in for them to replace the trigger
This thread wasn't really to inform you, but rather to ask if anyone has sent in their rifle to Remington.
How long did you have to wait till you got it back?
Was it replaced with a similar trigger or a better one?
Did you ever experience the problem in the first place?
Wondering if I should just forget about getting it replaced, since I haven't experienced the problem yet...
Maybe even shop around for a nicer trigger and replace it myself..
