I would like to see a lot of the weapons and ammo manufacturing move to pro-2a states such as Oklahoma/Texas/Missouri/etc. I know some of them originated in enemy territory, but it makes sense to me that they would want to measure the cost of continuing to do so vs. moving. After doing the math i bet it makes more sense every day to move.

Didn't Remington/Freedom Group go out buy up Marlin, H&R and Taurus? Moved Marlin and H&R (or shut down H&R) to NY (why NY?), then produced terrible Remlin repeaters for years till they got them right, but by then the damage was done.

Marlin and H&R, yes. Taurus, no. Marlin was sold off to Ruger (Name and IP/designs only, AFAIK), and I think H&R was part of what was bought out by PSA's parent company.
